latest java update - ent connect problems?

since java updated itself, i was not able to play via ent connect (update was 2 days ago).

• does everyone have that problem or just me?
• is the problem known and under construction?
• is there maybe already a solution for it?

also... i am annoyed about those "do you really want to execute this java"-popup shit... is there any possibility to avoid it?
