It's not necessarily the bots, it's the path your ISP takes to our servers in Atlanta. Most of the time, it's the fault of a faulty node that your signal has to pass through to get here. Many people have 0 lag on our bots. I've never disconnected from a game, and I don't lag on them. (same with many other users.)
Try PMing
@uakf.b with a tracert to atl.entgaming.net (url=http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/troubleshooter/traceroute.html]If you need helping running a tracert.)

This has been happening to me for the last few days at random times. Most of the time I can play without lag. But some games I start to get bad lag then always disconnected and it takes at least a few hours before I can play normally again.

Likely there's a problem somewhere between your computer / ISP and our servers. We can't do much about it since there's nothing wrong directly at the server end, but you can try
WinMTR (run with target hostname atl.entgaming.net) to see where along the route is having load problems.
I'm archiving this since the original issue in the thread is resolved (on June 17 we did some network restarts to fix the Northrend banning problem).
