WC3 patch - unable to ALT-TAB after?

Hi
Just wanted to see if i'm the only one who, after patching, with the game running, is unable to alt-tab the same way i used to?
I can alt-tab and instead of the game minimizing, the start bar pops up over the game. i can still open windows etc, but the game remains in the background.
I've tried multiple resolutions to no effect

Anyone else having the same issue? Want to make sure it's not just me

Right click on your WC3 icon -> "Properties" -> Drag over "destination",

You should see something like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe"

Add -nativefullscr at the end. Should look like this:

well i cant either all i can do now is change it to windows mode when i wanna tab and minimize it,, press alt+ enter and minimize when you wanna tab out, then when the game starts or you wanna play just open it again and press alt´enter again to go back to normal screen

Just curious - how did you know about that parameter? Is there a list of all parameters that can pass over to wc3?

You can either leave it blanc, or use "-window" and "-nativefullscr"

You used to make wc3 windowed by adding the text there. In the new patch, they made windowed the default setting instead. It's as if they enjoy messing with people.

Actually i take it back; seems like it's not working for me now... not sure why
I'm back to alt-tabbing and having the start menu pop up over the game.

Hm, i cant find a way either ... Im normaly using it as "-window" anyway, and then just alt+tab or minimize it.
If you minimize it this way, its no longer in the background, and you can still alt+tab back in without any problem

alt + shift + enter can window mode.

@mystical_ice You can probably hit the start button, then click desktop (if you have Windows 7 or higher, bottom right corner of screen), or alt+tab then click another window in your quick launch bar.

Probably not what you were looking for, but hopefully it can be a temporary fix/ suggestion. The benefits (in my opinion) with the new patch is that it functions like a full-screen window allowing for you to switch back and forth more seamlessly and makes it easier to run a second screen.
