since the new patch i cant change my "gamma" settings. its still 1.0.
any chance to change it?

at least the new patch is so lame and just suck hard!

if i switch to desktop, there is the game alwasy in background = suck
i cant change my gamma settings = suck
to many games end as a draw, cause some dropped with desync = suck

fuck the graphic upgrade and get the old patch to the game!

You need to play in Fullscreen to utilize the Gamma Slider, otherwise it will use your Windows Gamma settings.
In order to do that you have to right click on warcraft III icon in the desktop , go to properties , then destination
You will see this or something like this :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe"
Change that to :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe" -nativefullscr
Tell me if the issue is fixed.

Yeah that will fix the problem with background things , but not fixing the glitches in dota / dota lod and more things , this patch real suck.

1.28 changed order IDs and map optimizers replace order strings with order IDs, because it's faster, but now, those are invalid for some spells.
There's nothing we can do right now.

ok thanks, it works now. BUT i have to start the game as admin. i didnt do that before.
but the problem with "desync" is still happend too some players.

You know what's funny?

Data migration now removes the need to run as admin to access saved games

I also never had to run wc3 as admin even once before this patch was released.

how do i start as admin on a mac?

Just be on the admin-user, and not some "guest"-user or user with less rights.
