New version of Java; unable to use ENT Connect

So a new update for Java (8u20) changed something and I can no longer open the ENT Connect applet, even with a certificate and allowing entgaming.net/entconnect from java config. Is there something on your end that must be done to accommodate for this update, or am I doing something inadequate?
