Getting Dropped From DoTA Games

Hey guys,

Ever since the new patch has been released, randomly throughout DoTA games, I will get disconnected for no reason. Sometimes on the screen you'll see a long written message that says "Game Desync Detected" then every1s names will appear. Is this all because of the patch or is something else happening that I am missing? I'm on US.EAST. Thanks ENT.

I play on a mac and have the same issues. Its a problem with patch (it's absolutely terrible and fixed nothing only caused more problems).

it has happened to me as well (I also use Mac OS X). Official record states "has lost the connection (connection closed by remote host)"

I just dropped without any lag spike or being disconnected from BNet from a dota game also. Sent straight to chat channel without ever losing internet connection. Hopefully GProxy is fixed soon, as Varlock's usage makes the game too much of a hassle to "play".

I'm on mac and getting dropped too. Two times in a row right now. It's really weird because I played one game a couple days ago everything went fine, played on this morning all fine too. But now I dropped at like 2min in the game twice in a row. Dammit! Just when I thought the mac version was gonna work again...

Now when i open the file for gproxy, the game doesn't even start up, haha.
Let me know when gproxy is up and running again by tagging me along the post

Oh I maybe its related to this

Nothing we can do about it at this moment as the problem is brought by the new patch, sorry.
