I copied wc3 from my old winxp machine via USB to my new win7 machine, I think this fucked up my wc3.
I can't get gcx to run at all. I somehow got it to OPEN (dll missing, debug privileges, blah blah) after many errors. But it doesn't record any game events.
Tried 3 diff downloads... zephyr's, twrpg's website's, and ent's.
Do I have to get a clean install of wc3 and drjones.dk/customkeys somehow?
I am at wit's end.
GCX is completely broken for me.

Personally, I have no experience with GCX. However, you may want to verify that the registry key `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III\InstallPath` is set to the Warcraft 3 directory, especially if you just copied stuff around.

@february You should download a wc3 registry tool to check all your keys. They have most liked changed from XP to WIN7.
If it still doesnt work, you can re-download the official warcraft 3 client (given you have the cd-keys). For that, please check our wiki's tools section.
