Only real issue I fear is crossing work-arounds. New methods, cheap ones etc. but it shouldn't be too big of an issue in a 2v2.
I never realized this was about opening a new bot..? Just switch the slots around, easier.
I have no objection really. It'd be nice to aura share too

Be nice to help your partner by giving few units to him if hes leaking, or to even share Auras

To be perfectly honest I like the current format, cause the waves and player units become so huge late game that is a "cross" at the end anyway.
I would much rather have a 3v3 version added instead, keeping both play styles. From testing i did after the mem leaks fixes, 3v3 its quite doable from lag point of view

Crossing or sharing auras can be a fun prospect, and there doesn't seem to be any objection from the community to have both players on the same lane.
*Note that it will remain a player's choice (just like in normal LTD) to decide whether he wants to cross or not, and forcing someone to cross/building on his side of the lane remains ban-able as per the following rule.

I highly doubt that 3v3 can be doable from a lag point of view for a decent part of the community. I tested 4v4 earlier this week, and started lagging at level 4-5, whereas others started lagging/d'cing around level 11. I think 3v3 would still lag too much around levels 17-20. However, if you test 3v3 out and provide replay to show that nobody lagged, ENT could consider it.

Do not build close to your teammate without consent to steal kills.

In a game like x10, having aura sharing or an ally backing you up may actually prove to be more useful then harm. Sure, there was no issue with how the slots were originally made, but more were convinced of having it this way rather then completely solo.
