Rotate Game Modes !

Can we please alternate game modes? I miss RD and I especially miss SD. AP is always nice, but AR can really be a crap shoot. Can we please use some SDEM in place of AREM? They are very similar game types but give slightly more flexibility (and potential for balance in the SD game).

Please SDEM in place of AREM. I also wouldn't mind RDEM in place APEM (assuming we could cycle through game types).

Thoughts?

Hey hmc1, I have the same thought. It would be great to have normal and easy modes to choose from.

Hey Thux. yA! I really think SD should be rotated in to replace (maybe just temporarily) AR. Just about everyone I know would like SD instead of AR due to the potential to be raped via random assignment. SD at least gives some leverage!

Similarly I don't hate the idea of RD. Even if that means some shitty 1st and 2nd picks, etc. I don't think CM could work.

I'm also very open to normal games instead of EM games...since most of my EM games run close to an hour anyways (the same as normal games).

Most modes do very poorly. Mainly the reason why we had to shut down a few bots. So tbh, I dont see this being implemented.

Well i think players who play arem will be open to a bot that random modes among sdem, rdem and arem, given they are already willing to random the hero they play.

I got some suggestion that will improve the dota game significantly, can we remove the check !scores and !sd on players, coz before the game starts, people tend to stack in one side with the good players. Then when the game starts, the game is always ending up on 1 side. So in just about 10 mins, the losing side will just type !ff. So I am strongly recommending that the admin remove the ability for people to check the players stats, only !scores and !sd.

This will encourage more fairness in the game and make it more enjoyable.
