Hi, posting this topic after this Civ Wars game: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=8544679
It was marked as a draw because of desync that occured about 30 seconds before their team lost after a 50 minute game.
I feel like after a certain amount of time, the other team is entitled to a win for the time they invested in the game. I realise there is no way to check which team is winning, so the elo given may be in some situations unfair. However, it also feels bad for both teams to play a 40+ minute game which then has no stats recorded. I would propose that elo is distributed normally for games that go over 30-40 minutes.
Time limit on when games can be marked as a draw after desync

Could say the same about any time limit. Be it 30 seconds, 1 min or 5 min. One can always argue what you said.
As games get especially close to the end, voiding the results is just fair.
