Transfer of NWU bot (ent.71) to europe servers
Hello to all,
My name is Leibo and im somewhat of a veteran nwu player. I would like to make a suggestion to move the bot to europe servers. Latly me and several other players (and i mean eu players) have experienced heavy lags, spikes and even dces from games on ent.71 bot. Altough im not sure if the majority of players are from eu or us, im quite sure eu players are higher in numbers and much more active.
So, a few question to continue:
1. Is it possible to transfer the bot to eu servers?
2. If its possible. How can we make it happen? Survey of active players? Survey of preference?
I would love for this to be an open discussion. Hope we can make the best action for the community. And improve game experience and overall fun.
Waiting for an update and/or any ideas,
Leibo

Re: Transfer of NWU bot (ent.71) to europe servers
Pretty much what leibo said is true. It's a moba game at it's dying stages(no active developer) and things like that are killing the game even more.
I find it ridiculous to play with guys that have 50-100 less ping than me constantly. It's a moba game and having 3 seconds delay is destroying the fun.
Swaping the bots on EU, as we have seen on inhouses, is wayy more balanced.
The pings for everyone are around 30~80. On US bots as you have seen in the past (can still see) the difference of ping is wayy higher. People can play on 6 ms while EU players are on 90+
Most active players are also on EU.

I agree, it will make ping more balance and well like the 70% of nwu players are from euro, i dont see the point on hosting in atlanta. Im sure all those players without ent account will agree with it.
Re: Transfer of NWU bot (ent.71) to europe servers
Hello community,
I'm an European player that plays on this bot also, I didn't have many troubles with the bot as it is now, but I could say that there were few times when bot was lagging, I don't know if it was a problem in general or only on this bot. So my opinion is that if this won't harm the US/Asia players then it could be moved on Europe, since there are the most active players of NWU, and maybe it could somehow give us a better experience of the game. We could make some test and after ask the US players if they are fine with new implementation, everyone's opinion matters.

Added an in-game announcement and on Discord for now. Will wait another week for input. If there's no major backslash, we will move it.

Re: Transfer of NWU bot (ent.71) to europe servers
euro bot is more balanced for east ppl too since they have ping 45-80. and most ppl are from euro so i think its best choice
Re: Transfer of NWU bot (ent.71) to europe servers
I agree, last time I had many spikes, 1-2 sec delay really ruin all fun. Moving bot to Europe servers would be great, because it would fix spikes for euro players and i bet US players wont feel difference. Anyway, there's no many US players, i think if all euro players would stop play, then US players would have big problem to fill the lobby.

Yay, nice topic.
Move it to EU if it suits the most of NWU players.
You dont lose anything by testin it.
How many votes does this need so it can be
applied?

If it's to lower the ping for players and allow them to enjoy a game they play more, I see no problem with moving the bot/host, even if I don't play nwu myself.
