I get where water is on. Yeah, Uakf.b I respect you did someone a favor to autohost (If you I didn't know about garena. Hell I would ask you to host a map on garena. However, not everyone enjoys it. Belive it or not some people hate the maps. This can be easily countered. Don't have time to support this. However you get my point)

However, other hosters want to give aswell. Hosting is a gift to players why give all the gifts? Shouldn't paying members of your service deserve very fast fill rate (Even though mine fills fast xD). However, I am talking on behalf of the other hosters. Unfortunately there are crack in the gamelist. Other paying members does not always show there games in some gamelist anymore (I am not pinpointing the finger at you. It is the majority including me. I see you taken your hostbot out of europe rpg room 1 this is good however, whats the point? Rooms with 5 hostbot should be kept like that. If at all you should host in the full rooms not the rooms that have 60 players and only just 3. They are the source for many of the hostbots.

Yondaime. I understand. But this is garena. How come only certain maps get a fast fill then other ents map? I understand they take a long time to host but still have you ever thought of the reason why It take so long. You can blame that there is too many hostbots. However, at the end of the day it is because people don't really like that map. I am currently hosting a map on garena which has 40 percent wc3 players. This tells you people really like it and I know because I like it. The Maps on garena have been hosting for ages. And they are in many rooms however I see little people joining. Isn't that a sign? (Little to me seems to be get always 8/12 when I see it. Because with that amount of rooms you could make it fill in 15 seconds. I know from experience)

If you say people requested it how come they can't use the normal public bots? And If i request a map on garena would you say yes (Let say if you say no) How come I can't and they can? The whole thing with 5 hostbot confused me. If there was 40 hostbot I would get it atleast (But would hate it even more. But still I do get it).

I am basically confused and questioning. But are we bringing ent to garena? If not what is up with the 5 autohosting maps on garena. Are they really better then the others? For example: [ENT] Survival. How come we don't host that one on garena and why do we host that instead of the current hostbot auto hosting in garena.

My main issue now is that WaterEnt I did an IP check, he has no games played on ENT so I do not see how this is even an issue towards him at all.

Your asking to get rid of autohosting because you do not like the maps they are hosting or they are filling up garena?? I hope you are also spamming this at bgn or dota cash as well.

It is an issue towards him because he also has a hostbot and it is effecting his games. Bgn and dota cash don't have hostbot in garena. And tbh I rather have ent to have hostbot in garena then them. About the map being hosted I am just confused. But mostly about removing the autohost bots as it is reducing the number of people joining other games (That some people paid for. However, mine fills well but others don't). I 100 percent support public hosting on garena and Ent)rand but not the autohosting bots on garena.

The posts are too long, but keep in mind that I believe most if not all of the other players here on ENT would rather have the bots.

Yeah I know. You got to think about the Hostbot owner perspective.

So because we are effecting his games we should just stop autohosting. Yes I see, totally makes sesne.

The whole migration to Garena happened because bots spammed the game lists in BNet. On garena, it was possible to have a relatively small delay. Therefore bots were not as important.

Let me repeat it for the 3rd time: I am here because I was aware of the website. Since the beginning of this thread, I indicated to the overall scenario we face with permanent bots. The one who wanted to relate everything to ENT was you. Never have I claimed ENT was worse than the other services, nor not vital. You/the users share the same living space with other bots and are into the game, which is why you should have a picture of the situation and possibly contacts. I hope for your cooperation in bettering the whole thing and guess if you (ENT) was to simply take down your perma bots, the other providers would just fill up the slots.

About me, you are both wrong/partly. The information I would not play on ENT bots is false. And even if that was the case, I think I have already thoroughly explained how ENT bots would still affect me. I do not see how I have to play on them in order to notice that they are taking the slots away.

I do have a local hostbot (not perma) and use it for BNet and the less populated RPG channels of Garena at the moment but most of the time, I just want to explore new maps and am fine to be surprised as a joining player. Back in the beginnings of Wc3, it was really nice to meet new players who did not just quantitatively consume the games. It may sound fitting to you to post such requests with me being from the mapping areas of the game. My understanding of maps is different from yours.

What I can approve of is the potential danger individual hosting may pose regarding ruining the experience for others, wherefore it sounds reasonable to grant only limited control, no additional rights. Although your ban lists are in effect, I do perceive players flaming, leaving games, generally being selfish, ruining them. Another problem I can regularly observe is that the maps are often laid out for the host player to pick modes ingame and the poor fellow who is new to the table has no idea but is to make the choices/take responsibility for his mates, may therefore get into the hair cross of flames respectively halt the game when afk.

If "permanent bots" (autohost bots) were such a bad thing, you'd think you'd see users boycotting them. But no, everyone keeps on loving ENT.

Bots are popular because they do everything better than blizzard's original game hosting. The bots just have features blizzard should have put in in the first place. People like stats. People like constantly having a dota game to join instead of waiting some random guy to host it. People like having a way to remove game ruiners. People like low pings.

LOL our cooperation in bettering the whole thing only for garena? This is all for Garena? I hardly know anyone who plays on Garena. If we took down our "perma bots" then that would mean I would be completely out of a hobby of which I love to do, that is what ENT is its an autohosting site deal with it we are not going to remove autohosts because it fills up the slots of a minority of players.

WaterEnt wrote: I do not see how I have to play on them in order to notice that they are taking the slots away.

Normally we take the suggestions and complaints more seriously when they are people who play on our hosting bots. What you are asking is like me asking you to shut down the restaurant across from the street from me because you are taking some of my customers. What kind of gimmick like that would work at all??

Really? Like seriously how can you REGULARLY OBSERVE this when you have not played a single game on any of our maps!? Please enlighten this to me.

Do not lie about modes. (General Rules)
Using the game mode -WTF without a group consensus allowing it. (Angel Arena)
Player enables game modes -ar; -rd; -br; -gc; froff; -exp/dxp without 60% of the other players' consensus (Island Defense)

If I am not mistaken those are rules are to prevent false statements of game modes and generally people will ask what modes are going to be chosen before a game if they do not ask then that is entirely their fault.

This suggestion is not going anywhere and I still consider this utterly ridiculous that you even suggested it in the first place because it is taking up a few "slots" for your host bot.

Battle.Net is overflooded by StealthBot channel and spam bots.
That's why sometimes net just got incredible huge delay,spike/lagg cause spam bot just experienced, and bnet is just about to terminated connection.

How did you jump to that conclusion?

Yondaime wrote:If we took down our "perma bots" then that would mean I would be completely out of a hobby of which I love to do

You got to say "the majority is out of a hobby then", since you have completely discarded your minuscule minority demand.

Yondaime wrote:What you are asking is like me asking you to shut down the restaurant across from the street from me because you are taking some of my customers. What kind of gimmick like that would work at all??

Your restaurant is on a land not owned by you, you just took it. The world your restaurant is in tiny/its range is global. I would have no problem with it if you were to perform your service on your own private network.

Yondaime wrote:Really? Like seriously how can you REGULARLY OBSERVE this when you have not played a single game on any of our maps!? Please enlighten this to me.

WaterEnt wrote:The information I would not play on ENT bots is false.

And again, you think ENT was god and the world.

Yondaime wrote:If I am not mistaken those are rules are to prevent false statements of game modes and generally people will ask what modes are going to be chosen before a game if they do not ask then that is entirely their fault.

If the joiners do not state what they desire, they should not complain. That is true. But how do you expect random people who join a game and who are not registered to ENT, to satisfy your artificial rules like not picking -WTF mode in Angel Arena (indicates the quality of the map btw) and to ask if they possess host status/have to make configurations and what is disallowed?

Yondaime wrote:This suggestion is not going anywhere and I still consider this utterly ridiculous that you even suggested it in the first place because it is taking up a few "slots" for your host bot.

Same as above, you pick only part of what was stated/fail to read.

So you want us to take down ENT, on which thousands of games get hosted every day, so you can have a more empty gamelist to host your games? Sorry water, you're not the center of the universe.

This says it all right here, your suggestion is useless and is absurd to the point where it is not even funny anymore. You are asking basically for us to shut down our autohosting bots because they are taking the spots of your games list? How inconsiderate are you because you obviously have no clue what so ever what you are asking here. Thus I am going to process this again.

-You have no argument.
-This honestly all just feels like spam
-If you decide to repost and continue this your posts will be deleted and you shall be warned.
