Autoban for custom games.

I'm wondering if we could have autoban for custom games atleast for the first 2 ingame minutes before people leave. I don't see a reason to join and leave.

I know raizen asked it for Legion which was denied however I would like an answer :3

but need at least for legion td mega
since the bot have stats, always when have a leaver ruin the game, make it imba
always feed 1 team and let imbalanced the sends

I think it should be on a game by game basis. For instance Swat: Aftermath really doesn't need it, if a couple people leave it doesn't ruin the game, a 4 or 5 man game, has just as much of a chance of winning as a 6 man game (it's a team game so odd number of players doesn't matter.)

I would say only add it to games that would cause an imbalance if someone left or if it's the norm that leaving the game severely hurts it.

Still, why would you join a game and then leave in the first two minutes?

But I think it makes sense to add the same autoban that DotA has to Legion TD Mega, Castle Fight, and Civilization Wars (most of the games that record stats); except tweaked to the right number of players (so you can leave, say, whenever after someone leaves on your team instead of the <4v4 DotA method).

Swat has a really high learning curve, some people can't handle it, so they may leave. My preference (in my experience as admin in other places) though isn't to ban people unless they do something intentionally wrong, such as mh'ing, tk'ing, blatant flaming, etc., but to leave the game just because they don't care for, or more than likely, can't handle it wouldn't warrant a ban imo.

Also, there are different difficulty modes in Swat, if someone joins a game as a new player, and everyone else votes "Insane" difficulty, the newer player 9 times out of 10 wouldn't be able to handle the higher mode and die right away, most of the time leaving. Banning them would prevent them from joining the next game with a chance of the game going a lower difficulty they might be able to handle and then progress forward as they get better. (I just don't like banning people unless I'm sure there was bad intent ;))

Ok. And actually for the other maps, what if someone leaves because the first player chose a stupid mode?

That's my point, I think ppl should so review their priorities before they burn out.

A note about castle fight, you can have AI *bots* to play for leavers, however the bot will not buy itens and sometimes it will get wrong units ruinning the game.

can do:
1) ppl can ask for the modes before the game start (can leave if dont like or if red dont answer)
2) can make specific rules for modes at each game
3) make some time to stay in game before get banned (even with stupped modes can play 2 minutes)
4) make ban abble stupid modes (everyone play the stupid game mode and ban red later)

Well maybe red doesn't speak English or something. But I think the ban first two minutes would work, I was just thinking about doing something like DotA where it's five minutes before game ends / >=4v4.

Each map has a default mode. Now If a player wants a specific mode then he can ask for it in lobby. If red is not replying, he can join the next game or try the !votekick.

So, I'm not sure what the consesus is. Should we ban just for leavers in first two minutes (unless game ends within five minutes or others have left already), or do autobanning similar to DotA?

i vote to autoban leavers in less than 5 min
unless to games that finish in 5 min, but dont remove the first leaver if the others also leave

im not sure how dota ban work

I vote banning only the first leaver who leaves prior to 5 min of game end time. and a ban of 12 minutes (I dont like a longer ban, because I don't think it's needed to ban players for hours in custom games and I don't want to lose players and make them join other bots)
