suggestion for auto balance game mode. Been wanting something like this for ages. First game back with ENT since protest and immediatly stacked games started again. first game was a 23-7 game. Players that can only play stacked games will then stay out of these auto balanced games and only players with the skill to play non stacked will play.

Been suggested and denied countless times. Suggestions altogether are kind of irrelevant at this time since bots and ent are likely to disappear soon unless we're really lucky.

Is there any legitimate reason why games are not auto balanced? The only thing I ever thought of was in case people wanted to play together with friends. However, the number of people in public games whom play with friends is TINY. An overwhelming minority. An in thousands of games played I've seen somewhere around 10 votebalances actually get through.

@apathyyyy I think smurfs is the main reason.

Friends is actually not a huge problem since we could have !friend command or something like that to link players together (maybe up to 3 so you can't stack a whole team).

If we had enough players, we could have separate tiers for <20 games and >=20 games, but unfortunately we don't.

Ugh so true. Will be sad to see ranked bots disappear :/

Funny thing is that this suggestion comes up from time to time and no matter how well elaborated the arguments are, some mod just comes up with the robot answer that this will be denied with reference to the suggestion archive. If you check the archive however you won't encounter any suggestion like this that wasn't turned down with "check the archive" as a reason. Just like in a Kafka novel we will never know the reason why it was turned down in the first place.
