Angel Arena Allstars Rules

I was told by cyberpunk that there are no specific rules for Angel Arena, being a veteran of it I thought I might make some suggestions, being as he's involved in one of my ban requests at the moment. Anyway:
General Info:

.There is a mob in the lord's arena called chaos and when you kill him he drops 999 platinums which equates to 999,000 gold and continuously goes up as you kill him, the problem with this is he's supposed to be impossible to kill until really late in the game if you become really strong before the game ends. Chaos starts out with 99,999 stats and goes up each time he revives hence the money.
.The hero darkseer has an ultimate move which is comparable to death and decay from the Lich in ranked games, which takes off a percentage of health each hit, and can kill chaos in a short amount of time thus making the game unfair(cheating), my replay proves this.
.The ogre magi has a copy ability which can clone anything at will and is able to clone chaos and kill him, as well as kill the mob next to him named fenrir which drops god's diamond also known as the item that combines to get blade of gods and all the top items.

Both of those heroes can make the game completely unfair and people seem to take disregard to that, and I for one hate cheaters which is why I'm writing here. I'm not going to go into specifics on lengths of bans but I do think if someone uses dark seer or ogre magi to attempt to kill chaos or fenrir that they should be banned for a period of days if anything, especially if they wind up killing chaos and keep doing it.
I think if we tell people to stop killing chaos and they do it more than once that they should suffer a longer ban for not listening.

The item infernal fist if used with the cloak of darkness, melee heroes can use this item combination to kill chaos without getting hit, thus making the game unfair and fists should be banned indefinitely as well as goblin defense system(rockets) because you can combine rockets to turn them into fists.

Overall my main points are these: Obviously if someone repicks to get darkseer or ogre magi then they can't help that, but they should not be able to exploit their heroes to get unfair advantages over other people just because they think they can. So anyone who uses those heroes to kill chaos or fenrir should be banned indefinitely.

Rockets can be turned into fists where if combined with the cloak of darkness can kill chaos and be used to cheat so those items should be banned as well and violators should suffer the consequences. Rockets and fists should = automatic ban in my opinion. EDIT: If they sell the rockets or fists then nothing should come of it, but if they refuse then they should be banned.

If someone is cheating and the teammates are blatantly allowing it to continue then they should be guilty by association and be banned as well.

I personally think I made all the points I possibly could and that these rules should be adapted into angel arena so that violators can see that it's not okay to cheat, I understand that some of it was bugs from the mapmaker but that doesnt mean people have the right to exploit it especially on your bot, and cyberpunk even agreed that the most recent ban request I put up , well the guy should be banned he agreed 100%.

with so many "game breaking" combination in the game; maybe you should talk to the map editor. It is not considered cheating to use something that is in the game, in the manner it is intended to be used in. No one is cracking codes, using 3rd party programs, entering built-in cheats, or otherwise abusing any game mechanics.

I havent played AA in years; allstars has been so imbalanced since it came out that it is rendered unplayable. I just read this; and thought that maybe you should go straight to the source of the problem: the map editor. It is unrealistic to hold players; who possibly have never played this game before, to rules written down on a website they are not a member of.

IMO, if these things were removed from the game, a new "best" hero would be found, and that hero would have to be removed. This is the reason AA is not a competitive game. This is a ranking of best heroes and best items; pick them or lose.

I'm sorry I just don't agree, because in my ban request the guy was blatantly exploiting the darkseer bug and fully was aware of what he was doing, a new player isn't going to come into the game and say oh I'm gonna exploit the darkseer, a new player wouldn't even have the wherewithal to know what the hell it means in terms of the exploit.

To exploit a bug in the game to make the game unbalanced is cheating by its very definition, and the majority of people who do it are fully aware of what they're doing, so I have to respectfully disagree.

You can hold someone accountable for exploiting a game, in my opinion because they intend to make the game turn in their advantage and can do so without putting forth much effort at all. You don't think a guy using a weak hero to exploit a mob and get piles of gold is cheating? The players in yesterday's game would debate you on that all night.

They did abuse the game mechanic, they killed chaos multiple times and got piles of gold for it. It is abusing the game mechanic completely, they abused it to their advantage.

I agree with karasu. about game exploits... I consider myself an Angel Arena Allstar since I have been playing it for years!! but I also agree on the fact that this should be taken to the source as soon as possible (the editor) theres soo many bugs and hot fixes that could be easily done atm. For example the rendering problem with different skins. The rockets could be made so they cant combine and use them only to help level up for early levels, No Combine to Fists. Dark Seer's ultimate shouldnt exist, its a terrible ultimate for hero killing and farming overall. The only purpose in game for it is to be used to exploit of The First God!! Give him a new ultimate. As for bans, if a player is abusing a BUG or KNOWN issue, he should be penalized. Im 100% sure that a lvl 12 ability wanst intended to give 2k stats to all the team 20-25 minutes into the game.

Not setting game modes. - 3 days

AFKing for more than 5 minutes. - 3 days
First leaver per side. - 3 days
Intentional Game Ruining. - 5 days
Refusing to kick an intentional Game Ruiner. - 5 days
Selling all of your items with the intention of feeding. - 5 days
Improper use of the kick command. - 7 days
Using the Dark Seer to kill Chaos. - 15 days
Using Dark Seer to kill Lord. - 15 days
Using Ogre Magis copy ability on Chaos. - 15 days

These are all annoying offenses in the game.

It doesn't matter if one person thinks a game is competitive or not, every game should have specific rules and I think some of bgn's should be used.

I'm not saying ban people for those period of days, I'm just using this as a guideline. Opinions anyone? There's a lot of people who play this game and it could benefit the community. Why should someone be able to exploit to their advantage the "mechanics" of the game? Anyone

I agree with kararsu. the BGN rules he has listed do cover all of the offenses in this particular game whether or not ENT uses the same punishments or rules is your decision but i think you need some if not all those rules to keep the game fair as possible because dark seer's ultimate , ogre magi's copy ultimate, and fists and rockets can unbalance a game in the first 10 minutes and most people use them on your bot because you guys have no firm rules on the game. I would greatly appreciate it if ENT made some baseline rules for this game that have been suggested.

Pyro1979 did hit all the exact points, but my main thing is that I have no clue how to contact the map editor and probably wouldn't be able to figure it out if I tried extremely hard, I would rather just for the good of the community have a baseline of rules set up so the dozens upon dozens of people who play this game can have some security in the fact that even though the map editor is near-impossible to contact at least people who exploit the game mechanics to CHEAT, can have some security that those violators would suffer a sufficient ban.

I know I've been pressing on you guys through private messages and I do apologize if I've been of any annoyance, but I don't feel strongly about this just because there's a guy I'm really passionate about banning, because there's a lot of other people just like him. BTW Pyro was in the game involving my most recent ban request.

This deserve a 15 Days ban if not killed in late game obliviously. And if it has not been removed from "character selection" or "Nerfed". Is years I dont play AAA

Yes I can try to re-write them, but I've some some thinking on my ban request and perhaps the darkseer on chaos is intentional game ruining. In any event I'll rewrite some.

Oh sorry I'm a bit tired I didn't understand this post at first, well I wasn't fully aware those were rules already established but I used those as a guideline, but it mainly does fall under different categories of game ruining but ultimately it's one in the same. I'll make it so they're not repeated.

• Using Ogre Magi against Fenrir and Chaos should merit a ban.
• Using infernal fists or rockets only if refusal to sell them after the first warning.
• This is a special one but setting the game mode to –wtf without full user’s consent, or a general consensus.(This rule is special because it’s a mode that when spells are spammed can lag the game up severely, so there needs to be a group consensus on whether to use it or not).
• Having users suffer a ban if they use a melee hero to kill Chaos with infernal fists.(Only melee heroes can kill Chaos with fists anyway, also called fisting by some), especially after being warned to sell the fists.

If you say that not entering modes for any game, ruining the game, and refusing to kick game ruiners as well as others are already rules then I will not try to pursue those any further, but the rules I just listed above are unique to the game and are considered cheating so if anything I believe those five rules should be implemented.

I don't have a specific number of days in mind, but I can leave that up the the discretion of the board, because I really don't know beyond this point.

Yes, sorry when I replied to uakf.b I was so tired I was falling down on my keyboard and I still had to drive to get my brother so I put a bunch of caffeine in me, but im not gonna tell my life's story, anyway down to my point. It is a good point that you made hisoka, but I've never seen it happen or tried it. As for the camping outside base, I completely agree so I'm going to repost a new list.
