Kick function.

I suggest the Kick Function to player hosted games be enabled.

Ofcourse I'll get the stamp that it's being abused, so I propose this... A SYSTEM!

Consistant forum users, with possibly say.. advanced user, or some label that gives them a notability that they're a reasonable player.

It'd be great because there's many maps that're played where a VoteKick gives <target> player time to do much worse damage.

The ban feature is great to keep said players out of the games YOU host, (BEAUTIFUL IDEA) though.. having to fish out all the players who like to ruin things gets annoying, and most people don't know how to type !yes.

Infact, could it even be possible to have an option to change the % needed to kick someone via !votekick?

What games are you playing? I know for dota there already is a !votekick and the % has been lowered.

So basically giving these users the same powers as mods? Even we stay away from this function unless some one does something really absurd. I can guarantee you people will abuse it, if this function is given.

The votekick percentage has already been decreased, and decreasing it further wouldn't make much sense. We used to enable the kick command for everyone and that didn't work well because of abuse. Requiring some kind of approval to use the kick command would put too much workload on the game moderators. There is no indication that constant forum users wouldn't abuse the kick command just as much as anyone else.

Precisely what I thought, I just thought it could be skewed with my idea. Though I guess it'd only increase from people simply just getting an account and returning it to how it was.

Work on the moderators though wasn't intended.

Are you saying you lowered the vote %? 75% I think it's at the moment. Did you lower it just NOW?

Also thank you very much for your consistantsy to my questions. uakf.b

Adventureclub, the games I mostly play are hosted by myself, which are: Jurassic Park, Mineralz, Undead Assault, Trolls vs Elves. And.. mostly any other well thought out survival based game.
Infact, I'm actually quite surprised that it's considered a bad idea.. I mean, do many people host their own games on ENT? (I mean.. OBVIOUSLY keep the !kick function off the auto-hosted games.) Even if they did, if they kicked a player in their game, it was their game they created and they should have the jurisdiction shouldn't they? I'm quite confused how it's abusable when it was your own game in the first place and you hosted on your own to not have to deal with other peoples tripe.

Ofcourse I will remain open minded, I'm again simply curious.

Yes. :3
You know, you can upload your own map and host it, also you can use your personal banlist. Oo

!kick is enable, you can try it you know, however won't work because you are not admin :O

When you host a private game you make your own rules, you are able to ban people using the command !ban nickname if you don't want a specifc player to your next games.

There's no abuse in a private game you can do w/e you want, !kick, !ban, flame, ruin the games, etc... just a note: being an idiot ingame ppl wont join in your next games

No, you can't !kick in your game because there's already a votekick function that should take care of it. You can !ban so that they don't join the next game you host, but there's no reason why you should be able to arbitrarily kick someone from a running game and ruin the game that they have already joined for them.

Cool, I didn't know cuz I avoid some commands like kick/synclimit and end. :3
so can I type !kick raizen, since the command is disable? or you are just saying the !kick is not allowed to admins.

I mean non-admins cannot !kick (NOTE: it IS enabled in lobby so you can kick someone before game starts, that way you wouldn't be ruining the game for them really). Admins can !kick in any game, including ones they host, but obviously they shouldn't unless there's a reason like game ruining.

Actually there is one function to be fixed. When I host my Custom Maps i cannot even votekick cause the map players are 4-5 slots only. So I am just wondering.

That doesn't make sense. You can votekick in any game with more than three players...

The Bot answered me: "not enough players to votekick" Could have been a bug maybe or a glitch, I dont know. I was wondering in fact as I said.

That means there were three or less players, not four.

Yes, please refer to viewtopic.php?f=43&t=2975 once you gave me such valuable insight to the map uploads.
