Would it be possible for an admin to add the command in game !rules and if this is typed it will show up something like this on everyone's screen.

-Don't flame and afk grief
-Don't leave before the throne dies
-Don't fountain farm excessivly
-Don't abuse the !votekick command
-Don't feed, ruin, spam, or cheat!
-!yes the !votekick command against excessive feeder's

They have this feature on Dota-void

If the !rules command is typed and they keep breaking the rules after reading it then a ban should be placed since they cant deny knowing that they were breaking the rules. And they kept doing it.

I just feel in a ban request with this people have less of a chance just saying "oh sorry i didn't know you couldn't do that". And getting away from been banned like they should have been and 90% of the time they knew it was bannable.

If someone is breaking the rules then someone can type !rules and it shows the only players what the rules are eg: if they are excessive fountain farming then type !rules to warn them, If they keep doing it then they cannot argue the ban at all.

As for the automatic text at the start of every game , how do u manage to read it with all the other text over it eg: player 1 has randomed omni , player 2 has randomed huskar etc......

I bet 1/100 can actually read it in full and 1/100 of them actually pay attention to it.

Having the option to type !rules is a good idea, Theres nothing negative to it.

Yea i do see where you are coming from, Maybe your idea of it been an auto announcement a couple of time throughout the game would be a better idea.

Just throwing some ideas out there anyways.

Yea thats what i meant that your idea of people spamming etc could happen, But you can set limit's on things like that, Meaning a single player could on type !rules 5 times in 15 minutes kind of thing.

Your idea of auto announcements is a better way of doing it id say.

If it's implemented the rules would only be shown for the player who used the command.

I know on dota-void they have a system like this and anyone can type it and the text will shown up on everyones screen's, But the idea of auto announcements is a good idea maybe every 8 minutes or something.

I don't see any point to show on everyone's screen, players can just tell others to see the !rules command if they feel other players are violating a rule.

Either way it is worked i think it is a good idea to have, Some people dont bother reading the rules before playing on server's and they should as they all have very different views on things and different rules on back dooring and fountain farming etc...

also a !allowed command or something similar if this is going to be done. That way players know that backdooring etc is allowed/killing teammates when they are fountain farming or w/e

Personally, i think the !rules command should only be visible to the person who types it. The same way the !checkme and !stats command works for non-admins. It would also stop people from spamming and cluttering other people's screen.

Rules added, only visible to player who used it. If a player wants to tell rules to another player, first player can say to second player to type !rules...
