[LTD] Mode Selection

Hello,

Over the last 12 hrs, there has been 3 ban requests on the host (red) for choosing non-default (hpgmcb -prophet). I realise ENT pushes the knowledge of rules onto the player; but could we help the player(s) out? Most are un-intentionally doing it & then getting slapped for it.

Some potential solutions;

- Could we get the bot to whisper the host, in lobby re this rule? It stands out far more, than another line in chat. Failing that add the line re this rule to chat.

- Not sure on LTD's code change; ideally you could add the mode selection (top 6/9) within red's tower selection display; notifying of the need to confirm with players?

- Reduce 1st ban offense to 30 mins or so; making them aware of the rule - but not unduly affecting their game play.

But the modes are made that there is an option! Just ask him bevore what hes gonna pick. If he lies you can post a ban request but if he just picks the mode and didnt lie to you, its ok! Isnt always playing the same mode boring? And if you dont like the mode, then vote !draw. For that this vote is made! But in my opinion you should just play the fucking game and show you are MUCH better than the others

That's actually wrong, i suggest you to read the rules once again

[spoiler=]When using a mode other than the default one (-hpgmcb prophet), the host (red) has to announce it in the lobby before the game starts. Every player must be informed, so they have the opportunity to leave in case of dislike.

How bout a quick 45 min ban for first offence. Then people learn. Then longer after 1st time. Or have bot autotype it in lobby as a new rule in all caps. Like with all the other stuff it says

Follow the rules.

Whenever there are new or adjusted rules, there will be people who get banned due to gray-line reasons. However, this phase is needed and is effective in reminding users of our rules.

If you get banned for not knowing the rules, it is your fault. But, you are free to appeal.

If your circumstance for breaking the rule seems unintentional and there was no negativity, we will likely approve the appeal or shorten the ban to a reasonable amount.

I will ask so that the ltd bots output an auto msg about the hpgmcb and mode consent rule.
