uakf.b is there a way to put a similar message to bans in the lobby of the game as to why they can't join? "Download the newest map" or something? It seems every time a new DotA map comes out, people always think they are banned, if there was a message like with bans, they could see there is a new version and they need to download.

This would work well with the suggestion of mine about the ban's information - viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3454.

Well, for the DotA thing, it should be working now. What does this have to do with the banned suggestion?

I think he's referring to people could look and see if they are banned, he's just plugging for his idea

No, i mean it so when they come to see why they cant join (seeing if they are banned) have a little update there, Saying new map etc...

Almost every dota player knows when a new version is out. And if you play dota, you do know what map you have in your comp. (at least for me)

But a whisper if a player is banned from joining is a great idea if that can be incorporated.

Like I said, it's done already. It will put message in lobby when new version comes out and you don't have map.
