Banning people
Perhaps Ent should implement a ban against people who dl then leave. I say if they do it so many times in a day they get banned from all ent bots for 3 days.

Re: Banning people
they're just so irritating every like 10 seconds a random dude will join dl the map and then leave. and we will only have needed that one person to start

Re: Banning people
I disagree. It is not against the rules for a person to leave after downloading a map and it shouldn't be. It's a very stupid idea and it'd be better for them to leave in lobby, not in-game. If your only concern is people leaving when you only need 1 more to start, why not suggest something better like have !votestart enabled when the lobby reaches X numbered of players?

Re: Banning people
its irritating and they need to know there is a punishment for doing it, also it usually happens several times before the game starts its not a casual thing that happens every so often, it needs to stopped

Re: Banning people
Sorry, I don't see how this can help us to be a good community refusing ppl to download the maps we're hosting.

Re: Banning people
I mean honestly man, I can't agree with this. Dreath come on, you don't have to say it's stupid you can simply say you don't agree with it much like myself. We have rules against people leaving and rejoining to prevent the game from starting to my knowledge(though I could be wrong), but this idea while I can understand your frustration would ban people for a virtually pointless reason and nobody will want to play the bot anymore.

Re: Banning people
Also, who would get banned? I mean you can only download each map once, unless you delete it, but I don't think people who delete and redownload the map is who you're talking about banning.

Re: Banning people
For example you have new computer instal warcraft again and dont have new maps, have a small time then only dl maps. why should i have been banned for that? That a not good. Or I am noobie who see interesting name of map and dl it and for first want it see it in single play, why should i get punishment for that....
And ingame is better to dl it then search and lose a lot of time and someone who dont know how to run pc system well will download it in internet mb, but what after when someone isnt sure where to copy the map to any pack, for example my father play from my acount too, he dont know anythink and sometimes even me must run him some program or games.... you want him to punish him for downloading some game ingame?

One psychologist in my country said me life sentence, meaning is Intake what you cant change, change what you can and most importante thing distinguish them apart.
When you can implement that in life you make a great step in life.

Re: Banning people
DeadlyLink.....don't take what people say about your idea personally. It's just their opinion.
I understand what he is saying, however I don't think it's a bannable offense. If you want to implement anything regarding this, I would suggest not allowing players to join that don't have the map. There are many bots that will not let a person d/l the map. Only players who have the map already downloaded are able to join those bots.

No response from OP or other support, moving to archive.
Main reasons for not implementing this: we already have limits on how often you can join the game, there is votekick if someone is abusing slow download, and if people get banned just for downloading a map we'll get swamped with ban appeals.
