Would it not be worth adding new announcement messages to any privately hosted game.

Some thing like "This is a privately hosted game. ENT does not administer rules in this games."

It would save from the 1 million brq/bappeals/complaints you get like this > https://entgaming.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65942

This seems like a legit suggestion.

Although I rarely play privately hosted games, but it does sound like a good thing to add

Good idea, I think it would considerably reduce these kind of ban requests.

Looks like something worth adding.

Even though this could be a good idea, i don't really see many private games being reported for ban to justify the change; Usually the most common cases are users appealing they were banned on private games.

However, i can definitely see this change causing major impact, since we will be publicly announcing ingame that we don't moderate private hosted games (except maphack cases), and therefore users being able to do whatever they want (which can increase game ruiners/abusive hosters, etc) - Yes it's true that most people know it, but knowing and announcing is different

@Gaara There is no solution then lol, either we start moderating privately hosted games or nothing will be done

The "one million brqs, appeals, etc." is no big deal considering it doesnt need a review but merely the forum bbcode response.

Furthermore, it isnt entirely right that we dont moderate them. As far as I know, we still approve maphack related ban requests for privately hosted games (the ones which are not map-embended).

Anyway, I do agree with the elder staff members that promoting possible rule violations is not a wise choice. It is stated on the wiki among other (hosting related) rules which we do indeed enforce. Saying we dont moderate them while we, in some ways, still do might just be confusing for them.
