Dear ENT Admins,

Thank you for the new map with many fixed bugs. However, ENT18 bot do not give the option for players to play vary modes (example hybrid, or sd). The mode auto to just prophet only without red need to type anything. This can be extremely boring.

Please allow ENT18 bot to give red option to enter other modes, should he announce it in the lobby.

Great to hear that you are liking the map.

It is true that modes such as sdgmcb, argmcb, apgmcb, and hpgm hybrid are all playable modes. However, statistics show that very little people actually prefer or try out these modes. Also, it seems that there are more games where red forgets to input the mode or does not announce the mode creating chaos.

I think the benefits of having an auto mode outweigh the mode-choice-freedom.

What do you think?

I still prefer people have a chance to free choices. I understand prophet are popular, but it can be boring.

@nabo. What harm is to give this option?

-Red forgetting to set mode
-Mode not being announced, so players play a mode they do not wish to play.
-Gay modes being inputted, ex. mixure of -li
-Games potentially being ruined due to players deciding to leave the game because game does not get drawn or start trash talk drama with red.
-More ban requests

I think if red properly announces his/her choice in lobby, then it should be allowed. Modes other than hpgmcb are not often played but I think a choice of mode should still be given.

That is how it has been. But, obviously there have been cases where people dont do so.

The current automode has been changed to -hpgmcb. Note that merc has been removed. So, you can still play hybrid and all random. The cost of changing the hybrid builder should be 200 gold 500 lumber or something. So, there should be no issue.

You cant play sd, but I hope this is enough variety to make your gaming more interesting.
