Updates October 21st (will reply to this thread with any minor changes or proposal to the "General Rules":
Current:
Do not ruin the game on purpose. For example, by selling towers, buying mass couriers or selling towers.
New (minor edit):
Do not ruin the game on purpose. For example, by selling towers or buying mass couriers.
I think we need to make the following more clear to players, as many ban requests are coming up due to uncertainty in rules regarding draw.
Proposed addition to add to list of general rules:
Do not force others to draw the game, especially in the case of a leaver early on in the game. It is not mandatory to draw the game.
Current:
Do not purposely glitch or exploit the game.
New (clarification):
Do not purposely glitch or exploit the game. For example, by abusing antistuck, or using the altar glitch to change builder.

This is a general rule; Do not purposely glitch or exploit the game.
Why add LTD examples? Besides, Antistuck is already explained in detail in LTD-specific rules. There are plenty of other maps where you can abuse glitchs.
Migth want to add a definition of what glitch is instead; (did it in literally 20 seconds, just a rough draft)
Abusing an ability that was not meant by the developper of the map and that gives you an unfair advantage over other players.
**Note** That might be a good idea as more and more ban requests are made because of glitch abuses in the bugged version of LoD.
Such a definition might enlighten people better on what they can -or cannot- do with all their spells.

Why give examples of what isn't allowed? Instead there should be a list of exempt glitches which are allowed such as anti stuck, or at least a link to these examples.
'Do not force other players to draw' is silly because lying about rules is already a rule (which is possibly the only way to 'force' people to draw). Furthermore there is nothing wrong with requesting a draw.

While there is nothing wrong with requesting a draw, we have nothing about 'draw' in our rules. People are frequently being banned due to not understanding that draw is not mandatory at any point in pub games and is purely sportsmanship. Having a clause about drawing would be beneficial.

Yeah, definitely drawing has to be defined. Too many people freaking out and threatening to ban eachother in LTD games.

The reason they think it is ban-able seems mainly due to the fact that they dont read the rules.
If they read them, they would know it isnt listed there, thus can't be ban-able.
Plus, the players who threaten the most are usually the ones who know the least.

Rephrased some and combined some:
• Do not spam chat during games.
• Do not flame, rage, or insult other players excessively.
• Do not leave before the game has certainly ended, especially if no other player has left.
• Do not delay a game from starting by joining/leaving multiple times or otherwise.
• Do not lie about modes. If you intend to choose a non-default mode or if there is no known default mode, announce the mode in lobby or vote ingame/in lobby.
• Do not deceive players about rules in an attempt to get them banned (note, !draw is not an obligation, but a vote).
• Any form of votekick abuse.
• Do not ruin the game on purpose:
-Do not teamkill (ex. blocking, maliciously using spells, destroying/hiding/stealing/massing items, selling towers, etc).
-Do not go away from keyboard for an excessive amount of time, especially without telling other players beforehand, and/or refuse to play the game in an attempt to ruin it. Neither are you allowed to grief by resetting the afk timer.
-Do not feed or suicide on purpose which negatively affects the game.
-Do not save or pause the game while playing in order to distract players and hinder gameplay.
-Do not ghost by leaking information to your enemies/opponents.
-Do not purposely glitch or exploit the game.
-If teammates shared control, do not abuse it.
• Do not dodge your bans. Dodging is defined as playing on a different account while being banned on the so called 'main' account. Often caused by a (purposely triggered) change of the IP. Dodging is considered a major offensive equal to maphacking and is being treated as such.
• The use of any utility that hides your real IP (proxies/vpns, etc.).
• The use of any utility (FCD, maphack, etc.) that gives you an unfair advantage over other players will result in a heavy ban.
• Do not multibox. Using two computers/two accounts to be in one (and the same) game as one human being is not allowed.
• Do not impersonate any Enterprise Gaming authority (be it a staff member or our bot).
• Do not threat or mock community members and do not ddos or dox them.
