The perfect blend of dota and lod is 4 skill lod. I play it all the time now. It's very enjoyable. Let's get a bot goin with it and both dota players and lod players can play with ease.

sdzm should be fine.

sd = standard draft
zm = zoom mode for observers

3ls is fine with me I dont care either way I. If community wants this option that is ok with me.

3ls: 3 Limit Skills, you cannot have more than 3 passive skills, more than 3 skills from a single hero, or more than 2 stuns

What is the point of -ZM when we don't have any observers?

no point then. I wasnt sure if this would allow people to watch or not. Just dont include it.

-ss See Skills, allows you to see the enemy skills while drafting as well
It won't be a surprise anymore. In regular dota you know what heroes the enemies have, therefore you can counterpick

-sd is 6 skill mode sd = sds6d5ulabosfnzmebso with skill limited too one per each team (1 rein 1 bt 1 bb per team) and insane draft 50. Down side of this there will be fights over skills since all pretty much wanna make carry etc.
Real mans would play -sdd23ls or 4 spell mode with no stunlock and draft big nuff so u can still make some op combos.

In reality there is no decent 4 skill mode with decent draft there is just vanilla like -rgc or lod default mode.
I will suggest @ mapmaker site new 4 and 5 skill modes with larger drafts like -sdd203ls and -sds5d203ls and balanced 6 skill mode without rearm crap builds or stunlocks -sdd20s63ls.
Ent is currently largest Lod community (not counting russians)so I'm surprised you guys still didn't ask from mapmaker your own hcl strings like ent1,ent2 etc.

I understand your point F-train but one of the most fun parts of LoD is the element of surprise and having to come up with a solution as the game progresses. I love that part of the game.

And yeah Im pretty sure sd will work and make it 4 skill. If it does not put in sds4.

Will not work like that tested it with !hcl sd u get sds6d5ulabosfnzmso not 4 skill sd . Sds4 also will fail since s4 is not in any mode list since its considered default and there is no string for 4 skill modes like i alrdy mentioned beside the vanilla -rgc mode.

I tested it with pub bot i put !hcl sd and i got 6 skill mode, got 4 skills when i left mode blank and typed mode in game

That's because you are suppose to put !hcl -sd not !hcl sd

@nabo @F-Train I used to play in Chinese platform before coming to Canada and one of the most popular modes with millions of players was -absd - aka anti-backdoor and single draft (10 heros to choose from).

I would suggest we use -absdbod2 to turn balance off too otherwise a lot of skills are nurfed and ppl would feel it too different from the existing mode.

"d2" is to have 20 heroes to choose skills from, just to add some flexibility and fun to every single game.
