I was wondering if this could be added:
into general rules/dota rules
Map hacking is prohibited at all times and is unappealable
that will go to under "gives you an unfair advantage over other players will result in a permanent ban."
Not to be designed as part of the game but still there's so many cheaters out there think that they can get away from it.
If we had the tool we could check this for Ex. Mana bars, damage bars, insta-poof Meepo scripts, insta-invoke Invoker scripts, etc. (can not be appealable)
and this could be added to the general rules/dota
Note: WarKeys/CustomKeys/other programs used to relocate your hotkeys is not bannable.

Re: MHing rules suggestion
I disagree, maphack should not be unappealable. If someone learns their lesson and deletes MH off their computer, it's common for their ban to be reduced to 3-6 months. Still a long time, but not as harsh.

Map hack bans are not permanent, they are 1 year. Also as EoC said, they are appealable.

Permanent bans on maphackers had been discussed behind closed doors in the past and has been rejected multiple times.

That reminds me, why does the rule topic still say it results in a perm?
The use of any utility that gives you an unfair advantage over other players will result in a permanent ban.
For the suggestion.. Probably no need to specify which programs constitute an unfair advantage; maphackers know that they're violating the rules. And we've already said in many places that hotkey programs aren't bannable.

Re: MHing rules suggestion
Since it's 1 year, it doesn't make sense to forbid appealing it.
Should be prove-able by checking action logs.
insta-poof Meepo scripts, insta-invoke Invoker scripts
Should be prove-able by checking action logs.

Sometimes if you just ignore the FCD, DRM and other tools and just watch the replay at x2 speed, you will find real hackers.
To date, rarely an innocent player was wrongly banned by game play observation. They were mostly banned by the stupid FCD and map bugs.
I propose scrapping all mixtapes and promote Gosugamers Live Stream viewing!
Watch how good players behave in games, note down what they do and what they can't do.
1. If a pub can do what IG Chua can't, its definitely MH.
2. If his reflexes are better than Ferrari, ban him and force him to join competitive leagues. Let him show his talents to the world.
3. If he claims that he is a very good player and his game play is beyond world class teams, screw what he says and just ban. FTW, I do not care. ROFL.

Live streams 24-7 on all major league games.
These players average 300-400 CS in 30 minutes. Woots!
