[ENT65] Castle Fight 1v1

Greetings fellow CFers and ENT people.

In a game I had resently " https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=8443669 "
I came across something that annoyed me and maybe happend to other people aswell. That when the person you play vs "FF" or "RQ" or just gtg and dont bother to !draw, the bot is triggerd with:
The other team has left. If you stay for fifteen seconds, the game will be marked as your win.

(46:36 / All) wTc[JediMaster]: kociollo has left the game voluntarily.
(46:36 / QUIT) kociollo: Left
(46:36 / All) wTc[JediMaster]: The other team has left. If you stay for fifteen seconds, the game will be marked as your win.
(46:49 / All) wTc[JediMaster]: wTc[JediMaster] has left the game voluntarily.
(46:49 / QUIT) wTc[JediMaster]: Left

(Game ended after 13 sec, 2 seconds before It would have been marked as Win&Lose)

As you see when he left the bot said I had to wait 15 sec to gain the win, and as you maybe saw in the stats hes marked as "Loser" but I' still "??" because the game ended before the 15seconds passed. So it more or less became a draw even tho it was not a draw.

So I'd sugest that it be redused to maybe 7-10 sec so that it might be marked/flaged intime insteed of the game ending tooearly for the 15 seconds.
Or maybe removed totaly if that dont cause problems in another way.

Have you confirmed it is a recurring problem, rather than a simple bug in the system?

In other words, if you reproduce the incident, is the "winner" still not going to receive the Elo?

Well If your flaged Winner you'll get the elo, but as you saw in the game I showed he was flaged Loser but I did not become Winner cuz game ended too early.

And no it's not super common since most dont leave untill game is over. but when if they do this can happen, depending on when they leave. so just a small change on this one bot would prevent it from happening at all :)

I understand that. However, I would like you to reproduce this with someone so that it can be confirmed that this is the reason why "winners" don't receive Elo, rather than a single bug in the system that occurred in the replay you linked. I understand it is unlikely to be a bug, and very likely that your explanation is correct, but confirming shouldn't be too hard.

Once confirmed, I will move the suggestion to Awaiting Implementation since this is clearly not meant to work that way.

So I tryed as closely as I remember/recalled how it happend, maybe he left after the castle was down or maybe right when it was destroyed. Used the same modes aswell (they never been a problem but to recreate it as closely as posible I used the same) But here is the test and it did not get the same results:

(03:03 / All) wTc[JediMaster]: The other team has left. If you stay for fifteen seconds, the game will be marked as your win.
(03:22 / All) wTc[JediMaster]: wTc[JediMaster] has left the game voluntarily.
(03:22 / QUIT) wTc[JediMaster]: Left

The time needed to pass worked now in this test, however the message "Game has now been marked as your win, you may leave at any time" did not come up ingame, idk if that matters but the Winner & Loser thing worked.

However this was planed and way earlyer in gametime since we did this right away and not after like 40min of playing, idk if that matters but.

The main point of this suggestion was that game did not give you enough time to actually wait 15 seconds after enemy left.

The fact that the bot does indeed give you the 15 second kind of defeats your argument. If you are not able to reproduce a problem, then there is nothing on ENT's end to fix. Random errors / bugs do happen. Will give you a few days to try and reproduce, if you wish.

Yes but as both of us said this is not normal but as I showed it can happend, so to reduse the time would remove it from happening at all no?

I understand your point, but it is your fault for not waiting the 15 seconds. You implied game did not allow you to wait more than 15 seconds, which is false. You simply left.

15 seconds was implemented because bot could not flag a winner directly as the other left. Just wait 15 seconds, not a big deal.
