Change of stats on LTD No Cross bot - POLL

The LTD No Cross bot has been up for a while by now and it seems like it's a dead bot most of the time and my suggestion is to change the individual stats (as it is now) to being merged with the other LTD bot's so you don't have to start all over with your stats on the LTD No Cross bot - this change in stats could help to get people from the normal 3.41 bots to also use this bot since I've spoken with some who think starting over on a new bot is pointless and not worth it even though you will not be facing Merc, Cross or other kind of double build on this bot.

I personally think that the stats being merged would make others want to actually play on the bot. But there is always the people who do not know how to do anything but cross which is why it will probably not raise enough interest anyways to make a merger worthwhile. It is a great idea, but there are too many people into crossing and playing merc that I do not think it will raise enough interest.

Unfortunately, i do not think there is enough player base to consider two diff pub stats for ltd.
Just like dota having diff modes, i support having no cross as simply a mode rather than an HR bot.

Might as well do it, the bot needs more player support or its just going to die out imo. Its a shame too since it requires more skill

It might be too late to "rescue" the bot, but I guess it's worth a shot since it can't really get wosre

I think this is different game in compare with pub 3.41 bot (and 1v1 is different also) cos no merc and no cross build, wich mean completely different strategies availeable, so stats should be divided.


For promotion this bot, just add votestart function, so people can play 2v2 and 3v3 games without long waiting.


One thing i want know - single mid build is allowed or not in this bot? This is very popular and many times effective strategy on 1v1.

@I_kill_satan - I agree that these are two different games but never the less this wont even be a game if something isn't changed and yes I totally agree on the votestart function that I've already asked for on the bot but it was denied - maybe it's time to take that possibility up again

Single mid build is not allowed on this bot no - you can't in any way build towers that are gonna hit the creeps from the other lane - but you can antistuck to catch the leaks though!

@Krumme I dont think that divided/not divided stats is the main issue of bot popularity in general; this is qwestion of promotion and game conditions. In 1v1 bot we have divided stats and its very popular as i know. I m afraid if u guyz make combined stats situation wont changed. Probably possibility 2v2 and 3v3 without long waiting games will make more effect.

Up to me, its sad that mid build not allowed, cos less strategies availeable, and u anyway still can ninja creeps by AS or for example making smth like goat with spear behind. And in case of 2v2 game, if no creeps at other line, it still will be disabled?

I don't think that stats should be merged.

I typically play mega with the intent of crossing if I'm on main bot, and when I play no cross, I obviously have the intent of not crossing. Though, lately, i've been playing solo unless I'm with the winning trio. You know who. :p I don't want to see my stats merged because it doesn't give an accurate merit of how I play between the bots. I mean.. you kinda understand, right?

Yep and there is a lot of merit on a dead bot? The point is not which one is a better indication of skill, the question is what will boost activity overall.

I'm beginning to think that the sad truth is people would rather cross than play this game legitimately. I doubt that a stat change would improve the bot's popularity. We have already adjusted all of the in-game announcements and that hasn't helped. I can see changing the stat bracket as a hail mary attempt to vitalize the bot but am not hopeful it will help Any other suggestions though are greatly appreciated as well!
