I personally like if there isnt all content free at start. Always loved grinding to get some new champs at LoL or HotS
There is a new champ (or in this case Legion) announced, and i play a lot just to make sure i can buy it the moment it is released!
Unlocking things always is a way to make people play more ^^

I'm totally with you guys @Guennter, @Jules, @Jabba41. Unlocking stuff is fun and keeps everybody enjoying the game.
If it was not f2p, I wouldn't have donated, but the way you plan it sounds ok for me. Having a slight advantage in the beginning is totally fair imo, because of two things:
1. It's a one-time donation, it's not like you have to do it again and again, it's like buying the game and, ofc, contributing to the game being finished at all!
2. After 3 monthsor so nobody will care anymore if someone had a slight advantage in the beginning, imho. That's always the same, in the beginning everybody is excited about each day it may come out earlier or whatsoever. Later, it will be all balanced out, I don't see a prob here.
@Jules I have a question too, though. Maybe difficult to answer already, I don't know. But do you have any idea what the system requirements will be? My guess would be with a simple Core-i processor and intel HD graphics everyone will be totally fine?
Best & Keep up the great work!

Reminds me of heroes of the storm type deal or even dota 2
At first people who played the beta get a small advantage.
Then after a month its an even playing field.
And honestly im not even worried about the small advantage they get. As soon as I get to play the 'prophet' mode I'll just do that all the time
