Hard fps Drops in Ltd games

Hi. Ive paused 2yrs of playing Ltd. 6months ago ive upgr my fx 8320 into a i7 6700 and gtx 970 into 1070. And last week i Started again and than this... Game starts with 65 fps after wave 1 it Drops below 20 and after wave 5 it Drops <2 fps. Also lagging as hell.

Ive tried everything i found on the Internet. At least ive tried 720p with low settings (for the sake of science).and Same Problem there.

I mean 2 yrs ago i never drop below a unplayable Framerate.

So what can i do for fixing this Problem? Best regards from germany

Thx for the fast Reply. Ive tried these things and didnt work. I also Start the game with win7 comp. Mode and ive tried this wc3:TFT advanced Tool u can Download. Ive Monitored it with afterburner and i have 37%cpu usage and 42% gpu usage. So i guess there are no Hardware Issues
