Petiotion to delete/remove archers from the game

So here goes;

Nothing makes or breaks a game like elite archers, not even immolation.
So what I propose is to delete/remove it from the game if noone can think of any changes that would balance them some.

Not really.

If you don't know how to play them, it's a complete disadvantage. They aren't that over powered unless you know what you're doing. They completely tank (become useless) later without proper support, etc.

I dont know about you, but 90% (+-) of games at the 1200+ bot ends on level 14/15/17/18...

Archers hold 14 without anything added to them, they clear 15 without anything (holds easy with proper tank), clears 17 (mostly) and 18.

And thats the midgame, early they yolo as well as aqua, holds 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 against sends if played well...

What the fuck are you talking about? tell me one unit in the game that effects anything close as much as archers,.

Yes, of course, if it is possible to balance them I would much prefer that.

But like I said I really want to hear from y0shi, since she(?) has been the only one to respond with a rebuttal, what unit comes even close to effecting the game as much as archers. ty.

Units that can effect the outcome of the game - engineers into mutants, aquas, there are several successful yolos - pandaren, sprite- none are as strong as ea in the beginning, but they are equally as effective. Aqua with tank are capable of holding 14 - Oceanus can clear plenty of it with some tank. Jut as EA for 15. But like I said, if you do not know how to play Archer, it is quite possible to fall apart. If you don't follow the meta or don't build to support it if you are diverging from the meta, then it can, as stated, fall apart.

Balancing would be good of course, I'm not saying anything against it - but you have to know the EA Meta and what supports it well.

Nerfing it pre level 8 would be likely the best course of action so it'd be impossible to push as hard.

I honestly don't mind discussing it- but it all depends on the player, the sends received, the meta they are following, etc.

There has to be some unit better than the other. If all units were the same, where's the fun there?

And u say like its impossible to win against ea. I saw, and still see people failing with them. Even wothout fails, i won against them X times. Even on 14, which u speak like its impossible to win on.

Like, ghoul is kinda usseles, then lets make it stronger, make him hold 17 or smth, if we are going to do smth like this with EA.

I really dont see why ea is problem to you, you play on1200 like me, and there are so many new players, who dont know how to pull them off. Even older players starts mixing them after 10 with some terrible shit, instead of upping them.

So its a !no from me, long live EA!

There's really no way you can compare an EA to panda or sprite.. I think it should be nerfed; even removing 1 damage from it's base would be enough, making it much more of a risk to go 4/0 level 2-3.

Arguing that archers aren't op is a pretty ridiculous argument. Archers have been the easiest unit to play since before the saving meta. Definitely the unit which requires the least skill in the whole game.

Removing it from the game isn't a good solution, it just needs balancing.

I disagree. Blaster is way easier and more boring to play imo.

I think the problem about ea is the combination of rly good yolo with a good chance to hold lvl 10. If u nerf small archers attackdmg this could be changed. So arches dont get that big for 10+. But imo ea should stay sth "special" and "best" unit ingame

Warriors round 1? Send 2? 3? EA does not give a shit. Which other unit can push THAT hard and hold EVERY single round? (yeah except 7). Every other unit does not have such huge power as EA.

Well cross is another story. Its just broken op anyway. Thats why its only allowed on mega. To have a fair game it has to be banned.

i fully agree here, that removing just 1 base damage from archer and elite archer, will balance the unit a lot more than people might think, = a lot more of value would be needed to hold than you need now. So, Fully support that suggestion. Hopefully it can be done :)
