I played 4v4 legion on w3a the other day, and the bot randomizes the teams automatically just before the start of the game. I understand the Elo rating system is, in some sense, a reason to ignore the scores and play with any teammates, but it doesn't work out that way because people are focused on their record rather than their Elo.
Would others support using this randomize team approach? I personally only play 1v1, but would return to 4s if this were implemented.

@punzer well there is the !autobalance function available, although a majority of the players in the 4s game have to type it. Evens the game out with equal (more or less) elo on both sides.

Re: Randomize teams to avoid focus on scores
I dont think its an issue of score/elo (in most of the cases). Since there is no matchmarking system there will be always players not willing to play with people that are "under their level". I can understand this cuz im not always in the mood to explain basic stuff to rnd people i dont know. I care about my team only so i try to avoid trolls/hard noobs (with noobs i dont mean new players willing to communicate, rather people with hundrets of games thinking they are the best). Additional there are always people just playing with friends, so ofc they join the same team
