Not impossible, use your brain. If you can't delay, what else can you do to make sure the yggs will catch?

You're clearly referring to units that pull such as Zeus and Ranger but again the gold has to come from somewhere and if there isn't enough delay then the pulling units will just die before the holding unit gets back.
