Bit longer this time, gets more into the nitty gritty of when units are relevant!

Note that the wording of the question is a bit tricky. The intended meaning is:
Would you build this unit if...
You already had several built?
This was your first one?
You can reroll?
You can't reroll?

If yes to any of the above, then click the check mark.

The unit doesn't need to be good on every wave in the section to qualify. Just 1 or more.

The pure purpose of egg sack is delay, if not upgraded for 5. Funny how some people just select it nevertheless...

It's either delay in front of units so your units survive some time (e.g. for wyv, engi, necro) or behind (for malf). It has no other purpose than to delay, except if you upgrade it for 5?!?!

Ah i see where the mistake is. You call it delay when a unit is a tank. Egg-sack is a tank/meat shield.
A unit become a delay unit when you build it to delay the wave for your crossing partner. Or when you build them to delay the wave so it will use longer time to reach the king. Building a unit with your main build isnt classified as delay.

I concur with Stiff's definition. That is also what I meant when I wrote it.

Tank does not equal delay. Tanks are needed in any build.

Delay is when you have no intention of holding.

But then this categorisation does not make sense. You can feel the need to put any T1 in front of a hades on 10 for example...

I also felt that this should have been made clear. The small tank units and also the units that u add against bosslvls are no delay spams and they are also chosen for their specific abilities, like addsack for example.

Fair enough. This is feedback I will need to contemplate to make a better quiz 3.0

I suppose what ultimately I'm trying to determine is what units are being built for their own sake, not simply as a case of "any unit will do, this just happened to be the one I have which serves this purpose in my roll".

Curious what people think about this weird situation:

Somebody did the quiz and put that the only units they consider worth building are Colts, Protons and Spectres, from wave 1 straight to 31. No other units. Seems like 100% a troll submission, but should I delete it or leave it be?

Unfortunate that someone felt that it was funny to make a submission like that. Oh well.
