1200+ ELO BOT

Would it be possible to disallow people with 1200+ elo to play on the main legion td mega bot? And then make a new bot with 1200+ only? Would get better games for the higher elo players since there are a lot of smurfs/asian or otherwise non speaking/selfish players on the main bot.

First of all we allready have a 1100+ bot and second of all I don't setting more restriction on where you can join is the right call

I don't think disallowing people 1200+ is the right route but I do wish the 1100+ bot was used more, my friends and I try to make it more active

You are not just suggesting a separate 1200+ elo restriction bot. You are suggesting that we remove the normal ltd and make two bots, one tat is <1200 elo and another tat is >1200 elo.

I am not sure whether discriminating players and separating them by elos by bot is good idea, but seeing that we dont have a matchmaking system and we use elo as rating, it is not unreasonable. However, I am not sure I share the view of 1200 elos being noob/newb/asian/smurfing/trolls.

1100 bot is not that popular, usually requires a group of friends to fill half or more slots to get it going. Post a suggestion if you wish to continue.

I get the 1100+ elo bot. When I started though my first 10-15 games I probably had my allies pulling their hair out with experimenting and not knowing basic levels. However I like to think the fact I was able to be 1000 elo and share a lane with someone who was 1400/1700 elo, watch them build out an archer or blasters build helped me out. Because then future games I would try to mimic them if I got those towers and thats how I learned.

Yeah it sucks to get the guy who is 3/40 on your team and sends archers and dinos every lvl. But there are players out there who are just new and are open to learning. Sharing a game with a well skilled good teammate helps em out. and sometimes easier than just reading LIHL forums on strat like hands on experience or something.

I dont get one thing, why change the bots? When legion td peaked on ent, we could barely fill hr bots(+1250 elo, changed to 1150 later). The ugly truth is that people love the bot, many people are regulars even without alot of elo, people who played for months, that dont come to forum and check stuff out,prolly just know the bot is stabil and active, if we keep trying to devide the small amount of regulars left you will end up tearing apart the community as it is, since there are simply not enough people to fill 2 or 3 bots, i mean maybe rush hours it would be possible to have more then one bot, but 20 hours of the day, simply not enough people. Also the standard bot have been so steady and active for the past year(or more), it really would be silly to experiment with it. Even the 1100 bot is retarded, it will never work, just leave the bot as it is, and play it or dont, if you arent satisfied with your team, you are free to join another slot or leave for next game, so no need to make another bot when you can simply go next game

I just don't get this idea of ENT having competition?!?! Everyone talks about more rules will ruin the community/more bots will ruin the community? In my opinion, and maybe I am wrong, been playing this game awhile... ENT is one of the only legit player communities that hosts bots for free/has a forum site for free/and actually regulates players with bans and appeals, not based on "hey ur my buddy, don't worry about it" style. There are no crazy mods booting people because they don't like what they said. No mods !swap for stacked teams to crush other? The"small amount of regulars?" Really? Go back 2-3weeks and watch what happens when ENT gets a DDOS attack. The ENT forum chat is packed and the bnet channel is flooded. This community holds this game up on the East as far as I am concerned IDK about Euro, IK they always have so weird MH stuff over there.

Well what I mean is that the most of the players are comfortable with the legion td bot as it is, it has always been like this, whenever they tried new bots for the same game with different requirements, it got nowhere, Hr bot has been the most succesful attempt to establish a bot with "high" requirments for joining, and the only reason it has some sort of succes was because lihl wasnt up, every single player that "used" the hr bot, moved on and started playing lihl, and the bot died, instant death. The euro bot had somewhat succes, but it was also empty some times, we actually manage to use that bot to arrange teams back when we played pubs alot. then they tried no cross bot also, holy shit, do i even have to say it? It never came alive, talk about a shitty idear huh. then 1100+. guess they might aswell close it now. 1v1 bot and standart bot is all we need, all that people want, dont need to create bot to host a game that wont be played.

I sometimes rage over people selling towers or leaving or whatever they do, but shit happends man, then repport them and get them banned, and lets join the next game !

Well yeah I get you on that. But its because no one clearly defines LTD players.
#1 LIHL GUYS - Going pub to try strat or just for fun, if by chance you don't wreck them on 7/10 might as well !ff lol.
#2 Crossing Guys - Lol, if they cannot cross they Effed, it's literally night and day with their skill, but still high elo. So Sad.
#3 Guys Who Refuses to Cross - Pretty much what it says they fit in anywhere.
#4 I Wanna Have A Long Game/So I Will Send Every Round - They actually say this! It sometimes works into the bottom portion of what I will mention.
#5 Skirting Ban/Game Ruiners - You had a disagreement on lvl 1-2 about sends or maybe build. So they mass crap units or send really bad sends every lvl just to spite you, but just short of Mariah/Hutzu/Supersexxy being able to lay the ban hammer and they know it.
#6 BGN refugees/New players - These guys play a 4v4 game like its solo. You can try to coach the new players, sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't, it happens. BGN players are still fighting strong with what used to be called a suicide income until ENT LIHL redefined it with a heck of a lot better strat.

If I missed a fairly accurate generalization of Pub Bot ENT18, please active players, help define other players so ENT doesn't think there are 50,000 different types of LTD players out there!

I am sorry, did not clarify enough. Basically what I was going for is who cares about the bots? Stop analyzing what should or should not be and pay attention to what is. If most people go LIHL after 1300 ELO (this is an example) than why worry about what is? No need for a higher lvl bot, never thought it was needed. If you can crush a pub bot, vouch LIHL. I might be wrong but after ~2 years on this forum I have watch LTD get so much attention and different kinds of bots for such stupid reasons! Keep ENT18 obviously, let LIHL do their thing and recruit. But the 1100 elo bot just should be ENT18 with no cross. I promise you will see activity!

The problem with no cross is people dont know what it is to play solo anymore I think maybe 70% of people cross atm, if you make a no cross bot it wont become active, and if it does we will see alot of iffy reports cause people maybe build way to close and we move into a grey area. Just leave the one bot and put 1100+ to sleep, ent18 fills regularly, some times faster then others. Tbh there wont be another bot needed, whether it is higher requirements, no cross, no archers, or what people can make of suggestions. Play on player, if you like to play a no cross game, go to uc or host a private game on ent or whereever, as the stats isnt counted as ELO it doesnt matter if you host it private or not

The no cross bot was very inactive. the 1100+ bot gets a decent amount of games and it's great to have the option of going on there with some friends now and again, I'd leave it.
