Seems like the activity has plummeted since its changed to 1200+, can we have the official game numbers?

Well 95% of players on there had over 1200 elo. I expected there to be a 5% drop in games. There has been a decidedly larger drop than that.

There have been connection issues going on for the last two or three weeks.
I can't connect to battle.net europe, or can't join games there.
So I'm using an US server, which works for some - not all - games. And I'm getting dropped in lobby quite often.

Since I had to switch servers, my stats started at 1000 again. I noticed a lot of other people switched as well.
And as it's still unstable and only some games are reachable, we regain our 1200+ slower than before ...

Take your 5% drop and these connection issues ... and you get a 3rd reason: some people don't want to wait for minutes in lobby until the game is eventually full. So the less join, the more leave ...

We werent waiting for long in 1100+ the games had gotten regular.

I'm assuming this change from 1100 to 1200 hasn't been a succes but luckily we have some numbers to rely on, right? ENT have the activity % numbers and people joining on this specific bot so we can compare before/after the change?

tbh, always i join game fills pretty fast ... i dont see any problems.

Assuming normal distribution, the increase from 1100-1200 would have culled a large proportion of players.
A poll for these decisions is not reflective of the whole community.

Maybe, I don't know to be honest, but the vast majority of people joining the 1100+ bot had accounts over 1200 elo, I would imagine it was 90+ who had over 1200 elo, so I am not sure why the games have dropped so much when most of the people playing 1100+ had accounts that were eligible for 1200+

1200 suggestion was implemented on april 18th. 704 games last week recorded for ent31.

From what I have seen so far, games fill as how they were before.

Maybe some ppl are busy with life and exams?

would seem strange to have everyone become busy with life/exams on the same day/minute the ELO suggestion is implemented. just a little suspicious

Well that was just extra fyi. Bot stats havent changed much. Will watch the coming week whether activity has dropped.

well, @eldryan ... nearly all over the world school-exams (and some other exams) started in the last 2 weeks ...

2487 Mega 1100 games from the 1th of April to 18th of April.
1193 Mega 1200 games from the 19th of April till now. That's 11 days and one week is yet to go.

We will wait longer to be able to make a final decision about the activity.
