Most OP/UP Towers

Postby supersexyy » Tue Mar 12, 2013 9:53 am

What do you think are the most OP and most UP towers in Legion TD Mega 3.5?

Overpowered
    1. Lord of death - no weaknesses, good against the 'hard' levels 10, 17, 20. For such a versatile unit that is both a tank and a damage dealer it really is far too strong.
    2. Goblin Blaster - Definitely an overpowered unit, the fact that it still holds its own on level 13 (with magic damage and light armour) is proof
    3. Wolverine - Upgrades from Tier 1 units should not be this strong, furthermore it has chaos damage
    4. Elite Archer - Terribly overpowered unit, to 'balance' it could have 5x the damage but shoot 5x slower, thus be the same against higher levels but less strong against lower levelled units, alternatively just less multishot.
    5. Infantry - for such a versatile unit it is far too strong, pyro is balanced but zeus is op (A unit with such flexibility should be relatively weaker)

Underpowered
    1. Tempest - Crap unit and the upgrade still sucks
    2. Meat Wagon - probably the worst unit in the game
    3. Thunderbird - Sprite is ok, thunderbird completely sucks
    4. Egg - same boat as the tempest
    5. Dragon aspect - Definitely not worth the gold (splash is far too small)
    6. Death Dragon - same as dragon aspect

You forgot the, one and only, Fire Machine. Probably the most OP tower of all time, and is more cost effective than the pyro.

Have you played legion TD 2.7b? If not then you should go play it. BGN still hosts although it's not as popular as it use to be. The fire machine is a T3(i think) under the goblin race in this 2.7b. I haven't played it in a long time but i can tell you that it's the last upgrade from the T3 unit.

Why would discuss old imbalanced versions :S

I'll clarify in the opening post, I thought it was a given.

Yeah sure, tempest isn't necessarily under powered, it's just not cost effective as most other units. Lord of death has been in the game since forever and i don't think it's OP as such. I agree that the Thunderbird is a bit under powered. As a T3 unit, Thunderbird is crappy compared to wolverine.

That pretty much defines what under powered is, so I guess you agree with me :)

And the fact that lord has been around for forever has nothing to do with its op-ness.

Neotank is expensive as shit, so although it's very powerful, its not really OP. What i consider to be OP is cheap and powerful, not expensive and powerful, and the neotank falls into the category of expensive and powerful.

:O O: Tree of Knowledge!!! I've RARELY leak when I get a lot of those bad boys. Obviously probably not the "best" but IMO it's been what I've stuck with in AP or even HP.
