just saw im banned for unpausing in game yesterday. ive never been banned nor did i know i was breaking a rule. the game was paused because a player needed afk, when the player returned i unpaused the game. another player said ss test, immediately after saying that he laughed about it, so i thought he was joking. also he wasnt admin i wasnt aware players could call for a test. i havent done many tests but after last night i remember how to do so and it shouldnt take long in future. i havent had much time to play legion lately and havent done a test for a while took me a while to remember how to do so, as some of my keys are broken and i use paint and another app to do so.

Rolders hasn't been too active lately and has missed out on some changes in the league. I know when he made his vouch request i helped him with the SS portion as he is not that technilogically literate and so it has been months since hes had to do one. I hope the mods can shorten his ban as I know rolders to be a good guy that never intentionally breaks rules nor does he maphack which is the whole reason for the SS test anyway.

You are mainly banned for ss test fail.

I remember going through with your situation and telling you what you should do and i seen you do it right after. Last season, I heard/seen you fail more than once. You should know that failing ss test could make others be suspicious of you mhing? SS test procedure is quite taken seriously. What is your excuse this time?

i sent a screen shot of my screen during that game. i couldnt remember how to do it and asked for help. some of the players in game helped me and i sent it to 2 admins. i understand its serious and i am sorry. what i dont understand is how it is suspicious as i hardly have any time to play legion at the moment, if i only have time to play 1-2 games a month im playing for fun, not cheating. i know you dont know me but if you did you would know i have no idea how computers work or how to even maphack. ill keep my app and paint open every game and send a ss every game if needed, i assure you i dont cheat and dont intend to.

I was obs this game, eldryan asked for a ss, and i was afk the moment of unpause/pause. So when i came back the game was paused and pretty messy.
You said the unpause was a honest mistake, which i can understand, and also eldryan had to whisper a mod to initialize a ss test.
Regarding 15minutes + to make a screenshot can be handicapping for all players in game and a waste of time.
So if u can send me a ss of w/e on wc3, i see no reason to unban u if archol and other mods agree.
If u have issue for send ss, detail which step u had issue for to fix this ss matter.

There will not be an unban. Only a reduction possibly. We have let go of your "mistake" more than once. Will not be as understanding this time. You had plenty of chances to fix. I highly suggest you find someone and become "good" at taking a screenshot and send it on forum. Even newly vouchers are required to know. This is more about you not taking action to fix things when advised to do so multiple times and failing another ss test again, less about mh.

thats fine. when i applied for lihl i didnt put a screenshot and was still accepted, ive had trouble with it and havent done one in a long time so i forgot how. i didnt come here to make excuses or become unbanned, if i broke a rule i understand. came to appeal as i thought i was being accused of maphack, because i am not a cheater.

Hi Rolders,

we can reduce the ban duration if you give good explanations why, also in regard of your former issues. A complete unban is out of of question in my opinion because you are putting yourself into a bad spot due the contradictions, like the next quote.

After checking the chat log you were the only one joking about it more or less. Eldryan and myself even wrote before that there are 2 mods online, including me which confirmed the screenshot-test.

"Ignorance is no excuse in law" - if there are rule changes, he must at least inform himself about it or ask ingame, though unpausing a screenshot-test is a different matter

Dont worry - you are not accused of maphacking, else you would be unvouched permanently if it would be confirmed

that ban is harsh and unfair because
1- I was in that game and what happen exactly as he said one player went afk then eldryan ask for ss and start trolling about it even me thought that it was a joke and I asked really you need ss test ?
2- rolder is decent guy and never rage never flame no bad attitude at all and all of us happy when we play with him and he never had ban before ....
3- we all know that this guy is noob in computer actually very noob and it happen before with him even when he vouch for lihl it was so hard for him to fill the fourm and tin did the most job for him by learn him step by step even he could not find the replays to add ........
4- we seek +1 in lihl and this harshest bans from mods make us lose more and more ppl and to remind you about it we lose nore , tin , pistov .... so please do not make this list become bigger and bigger

I see no reason to ban decent player want to play and have fun with his friends and his only mistake that he is NOOBY in computer issue
I hope you excuse this man and reconsider this ban
he got my support and I am in his side in this and I will keep defend him because I see it too harsh and unfair

Just cause he is nice, this should have zero impact on a case like this.

If he is bad at computerthings, he have to learn how to take ss, or take the risk of getting a ban like this. Doesnt matter how bad you are at stuff like this, if you try it 3 or 4 times you know how to do it and will never fail. Its his bad if he still cant take ss.

Without this bans other players may stop playing ... cause LIHL will get a messy place without any moderation.

I am aware what type of player/person rold is. However, you need to note that this is not his first time. Because of how he is and his circumstances, he has had enough chances. Since he was given alternative solution to his problem and had plenty of chances to learn how to ss and post them, your reasoning is not enough to move on with just a verbal warning. Being noob is just an excuse. Remember, we are talking about fail ss test...not a game ruin ban.

You seriously want to talk about nore tin pistov? Come say to my face why they actually "perma unvouched" themselves and recently requested to be back.

Although inactivity is an issue, just because of activity, giving freebies is not the better way to moderate.

As I said, reduction is possible for rold, but will depend on him.

@tariqtd two weeks for a fail ss test, is no where near harsh. At all.

It was probably only two week, exactly because of rolders circumstances.

Take note, that it would normally be 1 year ban.

1 year ban if he got caught map hacking @dong, but he failed to do SS test in a timely manner, not failed to pass it lol.
