Unfair Ban, abuse of game mod power

I was banned for alleged 'game ruining' in this game, yet I did not do anything to ruin the game. I was an active participant all game and even though our team lost, I fought till the end and did not give, like some of my teammates did. The guy who banned me claimed he was a game mod and that he could ban me if he wanted to. He is on a power trip and abusing his power as a game mod to ban someone simply because he was upset about losing the game. If I am to get banned for game ruining, then by all means every player on my team should, including the "game mod", because I put as much effort and played as well if not better than them.

If you don't want to play with somebody, don't play with them. That's not a good excuse to just ban people.

Please un-ban me.

Oh thank you. You know, banned 2 times in 1600 games is a pretty low number I think, considering I have not played under other names.

And cutting and pasting pieces of text is taking the game out of context. If you watch the replay, you'll see that I was just angry, but did not follow through on what I typed. I did participate, attempt to help, and got a few kills.

yah that is low, i also dont see a basis for the ban unless staying in the jungle is considered "afk" dieing mid 6 times in a row (by what it said in the ban) might be considered intent feed, but i dont play dota much,

i read the rules and it looks like your fine but you said u would feed, if you died on purpose after saying that then yah, your screwed, but it coulda just been you letting off steam from some bad luck and team harping on you (score doesnt help your cause either)

That's pretty much it, letting off steam. And I didn't die 6 times all mid. I went like 3-7 in the game, which is not good. But a fed bounty hunter against a weak witch doctor is tough.

If you are feeding or doing poorly, not listening to anyone on your team and continuing to do the same sort of activities (afk farming, wandering solo, diving towers), and those actions lead to continued feed then that constitutes game ruining. It's been part of the guidelines we follow forever.

Those three conditions must be met, and by the looks of it you did meet those conditions. It's the only way we can ban those sort of trolls who intentionally ruin games but act as if they are just trying to play. Now i know from personal experience you for the main part are a good player, but I also know you refused to listen to your team against the teams interest in this game.

My advice is to admit that you were at fault here, to impress that you didn't come into the game with the mindset of ruining it, and ask for a reduced ban.

I could have just pulled the plug and tapped out of the game, and I would get a 2 hour ban, right? But for staying, I get 30 days. That makes sense. The fact is, nothing I did was intentional to ruin the game. How was my play any worse than my teammates?

From that BRQ, "he refused to push with team, he only wanted to neutral all game," which sounds very familiar, right?

The fact is, nothing I did was intentional to ruin the game.

You were the only one refusing to play with the team, are you sure you read the BRQ I filed?

Now, considering that this is your fourth offense, 30 days seems perfectly justified. However, to be absolutely sure I checked a few of your recent games and found a disturbing trend. In one game you were PL and were votekicked for selling all your items, and you DIDN'T get a ban for this. In the other games you claim you are playing a "1v5" and basically flame the team to a sure defeat. Have a look:

In my opinion you shouldn't even get a reduction for this ban since it's your fourth offense and you are still not conforming to the rules. Please learn how you need to behave when playing on ENT.

30 days is a tad bit harsh, even in my books and im the worse mod that you would have to handle a ban req. I am relentless.

Going into past games I'd what we do. My opinion is to keep the 30 day ban. All those games... this player needs to learn his lesson. @yondaime. (I can't fall asleep. I'm in bed on my phone)

Disco-infernal, you have been banned three times before. I really do not think four mods will mistakenly ban you for the same thing, do you?

We normally forgive and will unban people for the first offense game ruining. The second, perhaps - it all depends. Third up? Well, no. How you did not learn from these 3 bans is completely baffling for me, but it's still not too late to change. This is a harsh ban, sure, but you can either wait it out or go to DotACash. On DotACash you'll have none of your stats here, not be able to join the variety of games, and face REAL admin abuse. Wait out your ban here, and who knows what might happen if you apologize and promise to change.

You need to decide whether you want to play by the rules and be a good citizen of ENT, or to continue violate the rules and be a cancer here. We have the cure.
