Massive DDoS attack
The attacker has launched another DDoS attack, with over 10 gbit/s capacity, against multiple servers, including both the autohost and public hosting servers in Atlanta, as well as the Europe autohost server. There is nothing we can do to stop the attacker except wait for the attack to die down.

Re: Massive DDoS attack
There must be... something... you could do... or is there really isn't? Sorry. I'm not good with computers, just curious is all.
Re: Massive DDoS attack
as i remember it is easy to make that kind of attack and it is kinda easy to defend from it, but he can do it everyday , the best thing is to call to the police but depending on the country they will do nothing...

It might be him, but it also might not be. Many people threaten it, but few people do it as it is illegal and in some countries will get you sent to jail.
For example, in the uk:
For instance, in the UK (where I am writing from today), anti-DDoS laws have been in place since 2006 and could result in you being sent to jail for up to ten years.
So, the person who's doing it is a huge idiot, risking a lot. And for what? to get back for being banned?

People say that all the time. That kid was obviously very butthurt and blowing off steam.
Re: Massive DDoS attack
if his ip is from the US you can actually get him into trouble with the feds as this kind of thing is very much looked down upon by the government, they aim to strike down hackers no matter how big or small they are.
