Diablo_@east as LIHL mod

Postby Diablo_ » Thu Feb 27, 2014 6:55 pm

Hello guys! I wish to apply for a position as LIHL Moderator.

Name: Lukas

Age: 22

Game moderator specialty (see below for choices): LIHL Moderator

Brief introduction: My name is Lukas and I am a student from Vienna, Austria. I have finished my Bachelor in Business Informatics and am currently studying Software & Information Engineering. I am a gamer since I can remember and I especially love competitive multiplayer games in which I usually have great success. I started playing Warcraft 3 roughly 1 year ago (before that time I sometimes played in on LANs and such, but not too often) and fell in love with the game Legion TD (Mega). As soon as I joined ENT servers the first time, I totally enjoyed the bot system and even more the ELO support, resulting in competitive and serious games. After 2-3 months I've heard of the Legion Inhouse League hosted on ENT and I immediately was very interested in it, applied for it and got accepted. Since this time I am a very active member of this league and enjoy playing it almost every single day. I both love the style of this league, aswell as the community which consists to a great part of nice, friendly and mannered players. In my opinion I have always tried to help our league becoming better and better, be it with (hopefully :P ) helpful posts in applications, taking part in discussions and polls about rules and changes to the league or by telling people when they are breaking rules and if necessary also reporting them. Since some of our current Mods aren't often online anymore I feel (and heard) that they can use another active and helpful colleague to help keeping this community being as awesome as it always was and still is, that's why I am now writing this application.

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)? On average like 5 or more hours per day.

What is your current time zone? UTC+1

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: In my past I have been clan leader on various browser games aswell as in Diablo 2.

Why do you want to become a game moderator? See above. I always tried to be as helpful in LIHL as possible and I now want to do so even more under an official position to help other Mods out and to better the experience for our whole community.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community? I will be an active, fair and unbiased asset to our league and thus also to ENT as a whole.

Closing Statement:
Here are two ban requests which I could find via the search engine:

Feel free to ask and post what ever you want, be it positive or negative, I am always open for criticism and am willing to work on it. Thank you for reading.

!Support.

We need an extra hand with lihl moderating, And I think he would be a great addition to the team.

He is very respected in lihl, And is always on the forums giving his insight in any problems we might have.

It would be an easy transition to lihl mod if he did get accepted, as he already puts work into the forums.

Good luck Diablo, you have my 100% approval of you being a mod.

I support him 100%

One of the few people that always talk and post calm trying to back his opinion with credible sources.
He has a good understanding and he can be objective when it is needed.

** I think Junzzi stated mod since the title is LIHL moderator.

Misa Support ^^ he has both the skills - the valid judgements about about who will fit into lihl and who will not - and a fair morally correct views about certain things ^^ / in other words hes not a robot when it comes to handling the dramattic shit that sometimes occur in lihl :D (we've all been there ;) )

I !support this 100% . He has been very active in the LIHL forums and he always makes fair and just comments. He is always professional and has a good head on his shoulders. I feel that he will work well with the current LIHL staff and don't foresee any issues with him.
