[ID] WindCatcher on USEast

Postby Goldenscrap » Thu Apr 03, 2014 1:51 am

Your Warcraft III username: Goldenscrap
Violator's Warcraft III username: WindCatcher
Game name or map name: Island Defense
Stats page link:
Rule player violated: He uses Maphack
Time of incidents (Note in-game timer or replay timer): Yesterday, around 10pm Central Time.
Any further thoughts:
Not really fair to play against him, whether he's a builder or the Titan.

I believe "time of incidents" refers to the time in GAME of suspicious play, not when the game happened.

Ahh, sorry, i dont have one. And I don't know how to save a replay either.
But if you ever catch yourself in an ID game, and he's in there, you'll see for yourself i guess.

No, kid, the fact you could find EVERYONE's stuff, without a pearl. Not even 5 minutes into the game you had "Found" several lumber bases, were constantly on every seed, and no one could build new bases because you would ~magically~ be there. I know damn well how to identify maphack, and you most certainly use it. You're just butthurt cause you don't want to get banned.

I play ID with WC all the time, it's actually hilarious that you're so upset about him being good, that you actually reported him for maphacking! If you don't save replays, how can you tell he didn't pearl? Titans can pearl over trees that you can't see...

I'm sure me and all of the other 9 builders were totally wrong, kid.

I'm not angry, just calling this kid out.
Me and all the other builders in that game were all convinced that he used mh.
I'm aware how pearl works.

Denied, non-existent replay.

@goldenscrap In-game consensus that the titan is maphacking is at face value just hearsay, and often proves untrue.

To get a better idea of who might be maphacking, use FCD and DRM:

Might look intimidating at first, but you'll get the hang of them with use.
