One day we have players saying that the unvouch rule is too harsh, the next day we are too lenient!

Players which fall under this category: Krumme, achillesgr, iznogood, marlboro, martiny. It is easy to forget that many of the current 'experienced' players were once total noobs at the bottom of the ladder. All it takes is a bit of experience, and until they have that experience it is hard to judge.

you forgot fiji. idk if martiny is best example tho. the main issue is, by unvouching someone, it makes it very hard to improve to LIHL level. I suggested method to screen candidates, but wasn't ever set up. @ilocos_norte

someone likes me ;D and keeps mentioning me as if i was a noob when i joined :3 i rushed straight 1260 elo then i may have dropped to 560 ( lowest ever ) but i finnished 1138 which is the mos timportant ;) and ive never been benieth 1k since that.. in season 3 i was 1460 at a point,.. if i were to stop playing at that elo id have finnished second... and now there dont seem to be much of a contest, especially from you ;) i dont recall that you've ever finnished a season with 1100+ elo ? so who are you to have any sort of oppinion about anything when it comes to skills and judging other peoples progress lol, Delutions... Delutions everywhere @Eldryan :3

YES! If all the newly vouched players instantly drops to under 1k elo and stays there after 10+ or even 50+ games.. then they should earn a spot under the microscope.. I personally think that all of the seasoned players are under the responsibility of acting as mentors to a certain degree, THUS also having an influence of who gets to stay vouched based upon the progress of their pupils.. It seems as tho Achilles have been doing his best, and been rewarded with a heavy loss of elo.. props to his patience really, but i support him in his protest about certain players which has improoved too slowly, or not improoved at all. This kind of mannaging could prevent any future posts like this one, and also encourage the new players to strive towards a higher level of Legion.

we are talking about players who drop under 1k elo, u did.... all of the players he listed started out ok, rushed too high elo, then drop. achilles rushed 1130, then dropped to 500 for two seasons.

also strange u don't recall last season. in s3 i was also very high, however I play stupid games vs u and achilles at end to pass ilocos with bad teammate- that is only reason u finish so high.. I drop from above you ON DAY IT WAS OVER (and above achilles), to finish very low because uakf.b takes so long with stats.... technically at end of last season I was above u.

seriously, not only is your memory bad but you call people delusional because you can't remember something that is posted in LIHL forum? pretty disappointing really...

You can try and sound as clever as you want - everyone knows that ur only mentioning me cos u dont like me ;) even Ba_fail dropped to near 800 elo in season 3 at the beginning - its funny you arent mentioning that :3 you're just picking me out as an examble cos you despise me ;D but enough of that - it would be nice to see some feedback from the suggestion about the few players who has taken the role of mentors and having something to say after they have been playing, observing and teaching some of the newly vouched players: The players ive been watching improove alot in a short time is: pewpew-lasergun, sony-, bugatti, jubadus, ethanol, 1005. anyone else disagree ?

no... I add you to list because you dropped to 500 elo and we are talking about players that join and go to low elos...

BA_Fail was semi-noob at beginning. not great, but not above 1000 until well after I stop playing s1.

I like that semi noob part, thank you for that

there is a very logical explanation to why I kept jumping around the 900s/1000s for season one. Believe me or not I don't care.

To begin with I was basically an outcast, only other lihl players I knew were duck, heal and ig0d. Heal and ig0d joined near the middle of the season though. I did not try to take command and just let everybody else decide what to do.

Another reason is that I was relatively new to double build, which most other players have had a lot of experience with already. Just look at most of my 2v2 games first season, I most likely had the best 2v2 stats.

I don't understand this? If you look at the season end rankings, over 50% of the players every season are below 1000. This is how ELO works, if everyone was above 1000 then the ELO calculator is broken. + ELO has to come from someone...

Anyway. I'm not sure we are talking about players below 1000 because 1000 is NOT the benchmark in the LIHL. It's more around 700-800 where people start to get "looked at under the microscope". Having 925 ELO in LIHL is not an indication of poor performance. IMHO - this league would be BEST if 90% of the players fell between 900-1100 ELO because that would mean that most games are evenly matched.

The variation that we can see someone at 500 and someone else at 1500 is what is concerning.

We're talking about new players who drop well below the 21st percentile, or 800 elo, immediately, and seem "unfit" for a vouch. 1k ELO is a mark brought up previous in the conversation ("YES! If all the newly vouched players instantly drops to under 1k elo and stays there after 10+ or even 50+ games.. then they should earn a spot under the microscope.."), if you want to understand more I suggest reading more. Supersexyy (or someone) was pointing out that not all players who immediately drop stay at low ELOs after a few weeks in LIHL.... This topic wasn't even about new players.

And yes, no one is concerned with ELO balance, thanks for the stats page link tho.

This topic isn't even about this.... It's about balls.

@ba_fail me and donald had the best 2v2 stats, as we went form 1000/800 respectively to 1300s just doing 2v2 before stopping. I was enemies with half the players when it started, not knowing people must've been nice :D . Watch a replay of one of first months games...
