Having issues with a forum moderator.

I am having issues with a forum moderator (matdas) overturning denied ban requests. There is a lack of evidence and he just keeps repeating the same thing in his defense. People are getting banned for being new players. Please do something to fix this.

@legionlikeaboss I was in the game and the one that posted the ban request against you. My opinion in this topic will matter because I have solid evidence against you.

It is me telling you what was happening, you took a chance by not votekicking him. It didn't work out in the end, as a rule of thumb if someone is giving instances of grief I always votekick, if I am reported for abuse I feel it would not be abuse because I was lied to. Everyone who was votekicking (on teh same team as the person who was votekicked) would be banned becuase they could tell that he was not trolling. But in this case he was. I'm only going to talk here now so we're not doing appeal and complaint

Love, all your other banter aside, If we did kick him, it was a sure victory. I don't kick in 3v3 games unless its clearly ruining the game. 2v3 is too easy. You asked to kick after top had been taken, you had 0 chance of winning (a non noob like yourself should realize this) , and are just throwing a fit because you lost.

IF you did kick him we could have rushed easily. we both had plenty of siege units and your team still didn't level three towers. Breaking level two towers with firearchers is VERY easy. I've played Civ Wars since it came out. I think I know how the game works.. It just proves that you are a noob legion because you don't understand how a rush works. I was working towards Stirrups. I would have had stirrups in a matter of minutes. Breaking your towers in mid lane would have been no problem at all if Red had decided to work with us and provide Knights or Footmen.
"All your other banter" My banter is me explaining how he was NOT a noob. We could have easily won that game with firearchers/mounted raiders. But you didn't kick the person who refused to give us our front line

Thank you Love, I am a noob. This has been my argument all along. I have around 830 elo. I don't know the perfect strategies or how to implement them. Therefore how would you expect me to kick some one else who is also new? Just because you said he was trolling doesn't make it true.

I don't expect you to kick him because he's new. I expect you to kick him because he's trolling. And when you decided not to votekick our red you ran the risk of getting banned. Also if you'd check the chat log you could tell he was trolling, you got lucky. I would not have reduced your ban at all.

I empathise with the op and support a removal or ban reduction. It's unclear for the opposing team that red was game ruining. Furthermore Love iniated votekicks before he was game ruining so it's quite hard to judge for the other team.

@supersexyy his ban has been reduced, he now demands that be be unbanned immediately ("you need to unban me immediately. Stop abusing your powers.") when he has already had a ban reduction. Red did not openly say he was trolling but the tone he took in all chat (as shown in the spoiler in my previous post) shows clear signs of trolling. I would not have reduced his ban because red did not deny trolling when I confronted him in all chat, therefore making it obvious that he was trolling.

Point is his ban should be at around 18 hours now and he has no right to DEMAND that we do anything for him currently. Ban reduction was generous in my opinion.
