Ez.

mtadas consistently does not use DRM as the source of his fog clicks, has messed up the few confirmations he has recently done, and in general doesn't follow confirmation procedure.

I thought it was
Mod1: Finds and posts fog click(s)
Mod2: Confirms fog clicks that mod1 found.

Mod2 can't confirm fog clicks that mod1 didn't find right?

That sounds correct.

ISIS: user mh @ 21:20 clicked alpha male no delay (full fog)
mtadas: 21:22 <POLITHSmeAK-47> 0x19: Select Subgroup: [Alpha Male] 0x00020617000A4618

As a green he should be telling isis to use clicks from DRM.
The "29:41" click was actually at :45, 29:45 <POLITHSmeAK-47> 0x19: Select subgroup: [The King], 0x0000141600001416

BeepBoop: 19:48 <rabota_eban> 0x19: Select subgroup: [Yggdrasil], 0x000A8AE00001C7E2
mtadas: Confirmed. He clicked more than just that unit tho.

Which click?

I believe I sufficiently handled how he fucked up in the previous complaint.
To recap, mtadas 'confirmed' fog clicks nobody else had listed, used a desync'd replay as his evidence, and banned users for clicks on shop which according to the wiki aren't valid.
I guess what also needs to be stated, nabo didn't make his last post in the thread until my complaint because as he writes in the post he forgot about it.

mtadas @Jew I was able to view this replay just fine. The click I got was not listed in wylds because I did not like the start of the map. Please reban. It is a confirmed map hack

tbh I'd like to see what he saw from the replay considering that everybody (and even op) noticed that the replay can't be accurately viewed.
Besides that, hes confirming a fog click that rmtx didn't post.

mtadas: click is at 10:37.

No its pretty obviously at 10:37...

seriously though, you can just use for author of matdas and you'll see that on confirmation posts he doesn't follow procedure.

So what do you want us to do about it? We're all human beings and make mistakes after all but what is it that you want us to do.

Disallow him from confirming fog clicks since he just fucks up 24/7 on those.

A reduction of power really isn't that significant since he doesn't do much. He has less posts in processed than marked.

Well first off, Matdas does use DRM I can even confirm that. Secondly what Karasu. said is correct no one is perfect, and I also guarentee that he is better at catching maphackers than you are. Other than that I honestly do not see a huge issue.

I think that's why matdas is staff and he is not.

I also think he is just trying to point out a pattern of mistakes (full disclosure I only skimmed the post). Everyone does make mistakes, but if they are particularly egregious (ie viewtopic.php?f=24&t=31913) and/or happen repeatedly, as has in the past, then there should be consequences as there have for several ex-staff members. (sorry @bouncinghitman)

Off topic:
I'm don't think that applies as much in this case, though. His point may be that matdas was prematurely promoted: <1k posts with very few in processed requests/appeals and much, much less than all other admins (3k+), FM (2k+), and several GM (1.5K+) & also relatively inactive. Last real activity was May 31st, though he was relatively more active prior to that.

When uakf.b promoted him it was because it was assumed he would "reply faster" than others. However, looking at the rangebans I and others posted (https://entgaming.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=109) I don't recall matdas ever getting to them quicker than @BouncingHitman or @child, who have historically been very quick at processing my posts.

Game 1: I had already received a pm about Isis but considering he gave time steps and was the OP and not the processing mod, I found it enough not to address this particular thing.
Regarding the second fog click: There's no need to check a second click if the first one is legit. The OP (Isis) provided the time and name of the unit which matdas both confirmed.
Game 2: Obviously the click the OP provided. If there's at least one DRM click, everything is fine. That's, however, not often the case which is why I've to pm the mods.
Game 3: I've talked about it and I'll edit the guide as well.
Game 4: Invalid. We are currently investigating this map regarding glitches/bugs, therefore it was not possible to correctly handle the request.
Game 5: I dont get what you want here. child's click seems to be a FCD (obv delay), matdas' the correct click. What's the point?
Re: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=31135&p=135788#p135788 : What are you expecting? Replay is attached, ASs are given. He confirmed suspicious behavior based on AS usage.
Re: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=30359&p=136193#p136193 : Click was confirmed at 1:09
Re: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=30285&p=134988#p134988 : If all are legit, there's no need to clarify which one he checked. This is only the case if you approve a topic with 10 clicks of which the mod checks 1 to approve. Then, obviously, no one knows which one he checked.

@Cambrioleuse Of all cases you listed, there's only one which I would categorize as worthy to address - and yes, I did talk to him about the replay sync issue. The others are formal things.

The guide (which you once again linked - and you know you shouldn't (edited out)) is for beginners and mods who are unsure about what to do. They're guidelines and a general procedure. As you might have noticed, reds do sometimes take the freedom to handle it slightly differently because they know what they are doing.

Complaint denied. Get something legit next time or focus on other things than picking out trivial reasons you might not know about due to us being on staff and you being a pub - regardless of you reading the staff guide.
