Stats linked through Forum account

Ive had a wee look though and havent noticed a topic about it yet, Maybe ive missed it.

But on Dotacash you can validate one account per forum account and when you post its show's an updated elo and tsr for you username on battle.net next to each of your post's.

On Dotavoid whn you make a forum account you can validate as may accounts as you like and when you make a post of any kind down the bottom will show up with the stats link'd to you battle.net account.

We host several different games with stats, and displaying all those stats on the forum wouldn't really be feasible. Also, I don't really see the point of showing stats, you can look them up on the Stats page; the forum is for discussion and stuff, and stats shouldn't impact what you can say in a discussion.

Didnt mean for it to have anything you could post about etc.. More just the fact of having that feature, I always thought it was quite cool (especially dota voids verison).

More for the fact that someones forum name may have nothing to do with the name they use on battle.net and it might help if someone is trying to get to know someone better, play style etc.

It was just a thought.

The issue is, as uakf.b said, that we host multiple games that host stats. It would get really cluttered if he had to set the name of the game that stats are for, then have a list of all the games that have stats.

It is an interesting idea though, just not workable on a multi-hosting forum and more for a single game forum like DotA

Yea i get what you both mean, Hmm wouldve been cool, Maybe ill have a wee think and see if there might be some way around it.

What if u could just link you stats page to you forum account??
Like you can validate you name to your fourm account from b.net etc , Just so from when you posting about a game etc.. People can just click your name Under how many posts youve done and go to your stats page?

As i mostly play dota i wouldnt know how possible that is tp work and i dont know what the other stats look like for legion td etc..

Denied at this time, it wouldn't make sense for a general purpose forum like this to pick out specific games and display their stats. Moving to Archive.
