Brief introduction: I have been playing warcraft 3 for the better part of the decade that it has been out. Nowadays, all I really play is civilization wars, thus my specialty.
What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)? At least 10 hours a week.
What is your current time zone? Mountain Standard Time
Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: Not sure what you really want to see here. I haven't really been a moderator for any institution like clan ent, but I've had my share of leadership positions in real life. I have years and years of Warcraft III experience so I know the game very well.
Why do you want to become a game moderator? As far as I can tell, there is only one civilization wars moderator. It has been a longstanding grievance of mine that ban requests for CW take so long to get to that the offenders often won't even realize what they're being banned for. More proximate reason, I just witnessed two CW ban requests denied despite very clear rule breaking.

You guys need more mods who are familiar with the current community, which supersexxy clearly isn't. At the VERY least this should have been a ban for intentional internet disconnection which I personally provided proof of in that thread.
2. viewtopic.php?f=24&t=35465 Any CW player will tell you 2 minute afk during such critical periods is absolutely game ruining. I cannot even believe this was labeled an "internal and teamwork conflict." I don't mean to be rude but anybody who actually plays CW will confirm.
What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community? I got to be honest, I love what clan ent has done for wc3. It is responsible for there still being a community at all. However, I am really too busy outside of wc3 to be interested in doing anything but dealing with ban requests and appeals.
Closing Statement: I understand there are certain expectations for a moderator to be active a minimum amount of time or something, but I am really just applying because I can't complain without offering a solution. I hate that there is only one CW moderator and am willing to help. I will not be active in other parts of the forums or ent website unless it is related to responsibilities of ban management.

Plug pulling is not against the rules, and it has no reason to be against the rules. I suggest you make sure you know the rules well and clear before applying to be a moderator.

Not sure what the passive aggressive comment about learning rules before applying was about as nothing I said was meant to be personal or offensive in my application. Rest assured, I am well aware of game rules...

what he meant was, sorry if im wrong sexxy, that disconnects/pp/leaving aren't against the rules that we moderators deal with. Unless there was some sort of other offense combined with the leaving ... leaving isn't punishable outside of autoban.

Anyways app looks decent! I'd like to see a TON more activity over the next week offering opinions in ban requests/appeals. Thats the main area of focus

I see. Could have (should have) been worded better from sexxy then, rather than the passive aggressiveness. That is unclear from the ent rules website. Either way, I'd be happy to contribute to ban requests related to civ wars.

I find it disturbing that you'd ban players for something that is not bannable, even when previously explained how the autoban works.

I'm well aware of that @matdas because I have been banned for shotty internet in the past and appeals been denied. I was just showing that he was indeed plug pulling. He was under the impression he got away with leaving without getting banned, which was proven by the lobby chat I provided. Scroll farther in that chat and you will see me explain to him he is wrong.

Regarding eleet's post, even if he did do it on accident, he failed to fix it afterwards. Either way, he left on purpose via plug pull and that is bannable.

I am against this application. I feel you're too eager to place bans.

As I said, it was unclear from the rules page that mods do not personally deal with leaving bans. So, yes, I am wrong in that quote you posted. Only after child explained it did I understand. I assume stuff like that will be clarified if I'm accepted as a mod so either way it was pretty irrelevant. Not sure what you got against me, but I'm not really interested in beating this horse to death. All I want to do is help manage CW bans requests.

If you want to become a mod, you need to be willing to help out, where it's needed.

The question is more likely if he is capable of moderating other games.

Any rough approximate time on how many hours you would/could spend on ENT?

First of all, I have basically been playing solely civilization wars for 3 or 4 years now. The only other game where I could be of help is Island Defense because i play that intermittently. Of course I would be willing to help there, too. Any other game you would end up with a mod trying to assess ban in a game he doesn't understand and end up with situations like the one with nabo who let a blatant afker go unbanned.

As far as having a presence out side of ban requests and appeals, I simply don't have the time. As I said in my application, my goal is to help you guys out mainly with CW ban management because that is where you guys are lacking and that is where I can help.
