Anyone ever been in an ENT game and watched a player tell another they are going to get banned?
It happens...
Ever watch a player blatenly lie about what ENT rules are or scew them for their own advance?
"If you don't do this you are going to get banned!"
"My ally is game ruin! VK or you get banned!" When they are not and the game is going fine?
Familiar players with the site and community are using this to scare away new players and people unfamiliar with the site. It is bullying. I think, maybe I am alone, that this should carry a warning if mods happen to come across it in BR section. Lying about what ENT rules are in order to get your allies in any game to act as you wish should carry a warning card atleast. What you guys think???

Was this already not the case?
tbh I've always gave those who lied in vk-aboose situations a longer ban than if they hadn't lied.

Re: Bullying
I can see why this behaviour should recieve a tough punishment. It's abusing the stupidity and/or lack of knowledge of others, but it sure isn't what i'd describe as bullying lol.

Re: Bullying
Deception + troll or game ruin = longer ban.
Depending on what happens and how it impacts the game, ban length will differ.

Re: Bullying
Thats great nabo that you point out what you already do. But I am asking about a new standard of warning players who lie about ENT rules in game should receive a warning. Maybe this was not clear enough in my first post, sorry.
Do you think that players who lie about ENT rules or threaten non existent bans should catch a warning? This is on a very very very basic lvl not talking about any other offenses, just this in game. If they have more I am sure nabo. has it covered with addition logic. So please I appreciate everyone's input, what you think?

@FirstFrost
Imba triple post.
As I said, there is a line between trolling which is acceptable and should be tolerable vs. game ruining in ways of deception, harassment, etc.
How cases which are in gray areas will be dealt with (ban or not), depends on the mod's view of the case.
Not knowing the rules and becoming a victim of trolling is also partially the victim's fault.

While this is true I'm not sure it address all of his post.
"My ally is game ruin! VK or you get banned!" When they are not and the game is going fine?
Its very hard to tell if somebody is indeed game ruining if they claim to not be but multiple members of their team claim they are.
A good example was a brq where somebody tk'd op's items via shared control and 2 members of his team claim that op had tk'd the item. Given that multiple members of his team say op killed the item and op visible had no item it seems obvious to be allowed to kick?
In such a situation though the liers would receive lengthier bans while those who had votekicked (misguidedly) would be pardoned. or at least that's what i did :p
---
This said, I don't see much reason not to enforce a warning/day ban for people trying to sway others to vk for false reasons.

In your scenario, yes.
- Information, Rules, Guides and everything else you need to know about ENT is on the ENT Wiki.

Re: Bullying
I don't know where all the pages went, very confusing. But what about the case where the player threatening says they believe what they are saying? In most cases, that would be hard to dispute, as players will take something that is grey and claim it is black/white. It's better if this is simply treated as a wrongful VK if they do that.
If they say "do this or get banned (like in giving "advice")" change the rules to let players have more call to be noobs, and differentiate between intent to TK and not listening to teammates threats/bullying.

Re: Bullying
We already ban for trolling/flaming/harassment/deception.
There are other general rules that are possible to apply in w/e cases. All ban request cases are dealt individually case by case.
If the case of "bullying", as how OP describes, happens and it is either excessive or intensive, a mod will likely ban.
