People dropping left and right in DoTa games

I've played several ENT DoTA Apem us/ca games over the past two days, and people are losing connection left and right. Even I'm losing connection on occasion. I just played a game where 3 people dropped before creeps even spawned. Is something going on with the servers?

Provide me bit more info. What are the gamename or gamelink in question?

Looking at few of your recent games, it looks like you and others are playing fine without disconnection troubles.

This is happening to me. I posted about it in the thread "Disconnect".

Afterwards my connections to the internet and ENT Connect are always fine.

You got disconnected in that game, then gproxy triggered, and you would have reconnected if you rebooted/reworked your connection within the remaining 170 seconds. But, the players in the game did not wish to wait and votekicked you out.

Make sure you are using a direct connection instead of wireless.

ENTConnect works fine. But, if you do have a legit copy of wc3 (working cd key), I recommend you use bnet+ gproxy by varlock instead. ENTConnect stability varies by location and users.

Thanks for the reply nabo. The game I mentioned is just one example of what me and other users? are experiencing the last couple of days. I have certainly waited ~2 minutes for GProxy to reconnect but am waiting for the day it works. My internet connection remains active through the entire event and no other programs on my computer experience an interruption.

I'd like to connect through b.net the old fashion way but it's tedious to sort through the game list. Furthermore, I can't copy/paste or type the game name by hand - I have to double-click the entry on the game list for it to work. If you can enlighten me on that one I'll be a happy camper :3

edit: I forgot to add that this is all on a land-line, no wireless.

Your disconnections may be due to sudden spikes or simply unstability with entconnect. Stability with entconnect really depends by users and their geo-region, isp, etc etc like any other internet connection.

You are talking about entconnect when joining?

Close all your entconnect tabs and wc3. Join through games.php by clicking the ENTConnect button beside your desired gamename. Then, join wc3 LAN and you will see the gamename as the first game on your filtered game list.
