i want to suggest a "Legion TD Mega 1100+" elo bot.

please just change the no cross bot and give it a chance, cant be used less than that no cross bot anyways

I understand that this has been rejected a couple of times so far, because the ones responsible for creating such a "mid-ELO" - Bot feel like it will not be played enough and has a low chance of becoming an established and successful alternative to the usual LTD Mega BOT. Now, I have never run my own hosting bot and I am clueless about the efforts of making or changing one, but I can't help but think that it wouldn't hurt to at least give it a shot. The worst thing that could happen is another 100+ h, idle bot, which can simply be removed.
The issue with WC3 is obvious. The main reason why games like Dota became a standalone, or League of Legends was much more popular than Dota in WC3 is that you don't have a matchmaking system. WC3 does not care about who you play with or against, resulting in unbalanced games, having either a 1600 guy with a bunch of 900s or the opposite, where a single player is enough to ruin the entire game. Yes, LIHL is a way to play with experienced players only, but it is not suited for everybody. First, do not all people wanna play under that kind of pressure and second, are still people out there who want to play with cross, aura sharing etc. Why not give them a chance to play against experienced players as well?
It does not have to be a really high rated bot. It is enough to filter out first-timers and people who fail to understand the basics of tower placement or sending as a team. So 1001+ would already be enough in my opinion.
From my recent experiences in the game lobby is one 600 ELO guy enough to stall out an entire game (and all subsequent ones) for 5 minutes, because no one expects a guy like this to understand the basics. A great amount of balanced games turn into a one sided domination because one low rated guy makes the 3 decent players in his team leave 90% of the time.

So as long as there is no enormous amount of effort required to just give this highly requested BOT a chance, I do not understand why we just see for ourselves if it is a success or not.

so? There are many supporters for this bot and i stated all the pros that lever out your cons @nabo. in the original thread in the LTD Forum.

plus someone deleted a couple supporting posts in this thread for w/e reason.

will you give it a shot? I think this is a step towards better matchmaking which will only help the community not to shrink even faster.

Whether it will be active/used depends on the community, not I.

i also don't think of this as a filter. Low elos will have more fun not getting flamed at all time too

It will turn into the "No Cross Bot" all over again. People saying they would play it, but then don't. The simple solution is to play with these people and teach them. If they don't want to listen, then don't flame them.

However, it is up to uafk.b to change the bot. I am willing to give it a shot, but don't blame ent for no games if that happens.

No cross bot is dead. People who play it are playing it with friends vs friends etc. Instead of pubs playing pubs.

Please change ENT31 LTD No Cross bot to LTD 1100 Elo and add 1100 elo restrictions. Let's see how it goes.

well i think its worth a shot. Maybe it won't work but it can't be worse than the nocross bot.

Maybe try to start with 1050+ or 1075+ elo and see how it goes.

If this has to Work, this bot has to have some connection from the normal [ent] legion td mega # bot.

SAME STATS, just allow players to play it if they get +1000/1100 elo.
