GProxy++ ilo
Sup,
enough is enough. I always dc from bnet if I enter lihl23i instead of lihl23l or whatever.
So, here a new modified version of GProxy++ GUI.
It should protect you from battle.net dc if you enter an invalid game name.
Need sone Beta testers
afaik I didnt add a virus or something
1.) download the file
2.) unzip
3.) open wc3 folder
4.) If you already use the old GProxy++ GUI Version please deleate the following files:
"gproxy.exe" (the launch data), "gproxy.cfg" and "w3lh.dll"
5.) copy and paste the new files
ps. You can also overwrite the files with copy and paste. But make sure they have the same names
feedback over pm pls or just post in this thread

Eh, already made a fix a few weeks ago: Link.
If yours does the same then there shouldn't be any issues!

Re: GProxy++ ilo
I just noticed I accidently changed the game name indicator:
bnet_game_indicator = [ilo]
You can replace that with:
bnet_game_indicator = [G]
Its in the editor file

"accidently" suuuuuuure
You probably also "accidently" added that other line in the cfg file right? ^^
Btw, it also shows whispers to you in the gproxy window. Did you change that on purpose? Just curious here.

Re: GProxy++ ilo
i couldn't get it to work.
i erased all 3 files from previous version
used ccleaner to delete registry entries
did ipconfig/ flushdns
nothing worked
I still get the old gproxy entry in the game bnet connection screen.
when i put your new version regardless, it just refuses to connect.
and neco version is missing a .dll

Do you mean the menu where u chose the gateway? because I didnt change the name of the gateway. Its still "gproxy"
Or do you mean the old game name indicator = [G] in the game list? Is that still the old one and not [ilo]? If you got the old one here there have to be old files somewhere. Maybe draw the files out of the folder and put them back in again.
From the feedback I got so far the version works for most people. I can offer you a Team Viewer check.

I can only guess your exact problem but I think you miss the "gproxy" gateway. I have the same problem sometimes (with all versions of GProxy++ GUI) and couldnt figure out what it is. What works for me is choosing another gateway, click on Bnet (without logging in) then alt tab, close the windows of grpoxy and wc3 and restart Gproxy.
